Speaking to the press, ONC representative Hakim Kyeswa highlighted the motivation behind the initiative: “We have served hundreds of participants today, many of whom left their homes early without taking anything. As the Office of the National Chairman, we felt compelled to step in and provide meals and refreshments. This gesture reflects the deep care and commitment to the well-being of the bazzukulu, a value that defines our leadership.” Participants were treated to a variety of refreshments, including water, soft drinks, and fresh watermelon, helping them recover after the physically demanding run.
