When your Senator always says her most important role is “Mom” ❤️
It’s so important to bring your little ones to the spaces where the things happen. They are our future!
I’m thrilled to see that @CASpeakerRivas is focused on affordability this session & especially the need to reform housing requirements across CA!
It is too complicated, costly & time-consuming to build housing while people sleep on our streets.

Started my morning bright and early meeting with our state representatives, Assemblymember @maggykrell & @SenatorAshby ☀️
We are so lucky to have smart, capable and compassionate leaders at the helm. Thank you for caring about Sacramento!
BREAKING: California Insurance Commissioner @RicardoLara4CA has issued a mandatory one-year moratorium that will prohibit insurance companies from enacting non-renewals and cancellations of coverage for home owners within the perimeters or adjoining ZIP Codes of the Palisades and Eaton fires in Los Angeles County regardless of whether they suffered a loss. The moratorium will expire on Jan. 7, 2026.
THANK YOU, FIREFIGHTERS! Join us in thanking the brave men and women risking their lives to help fight the Southern California wildfires. abc7.la/426fjOu
It'd be so cool to have a platform where you could just find helpful reporting and emergency information without stumbling over thousands of posts from people who see a devastating fire as an opportunity to share their half-baked political takes
This evening, Metro Fire, Cosumnes Fire, and Sacramento Fire proudly deployed Strike Team 4801-C to the Palisades Fire in Southern California. 4801-C consists of 22 firefighters staffing five Type 1 engines, and one strike team vehicle.
This deployment showcases the strength and resilience of the California Master Mutual Aid Agreement, and highlights the importance of emergency resource sharing statewide. Fire season is now year-round, and the ability to support the mission of saving lives and protecting property throughout our state has never been more critical.
We wish our Sacramento County crews safe travels as they join our brothers and sisters on the front lines in Los Angeles County.

Thinking of and praying for every firefighter who is answering the call today and tonight in the Palisades and Eaton Fires, but keeping in mind they are the world’s very best at what they do.
I did get a cell phone during my Junior year in high school - a Nokia with the ability to call & send texts.
My parents didn’t usually know where I was until I came home. Now kids are tracked constantly.
I wonder how the proliferation of smart phones has changed childhood. 2/2
I just finished watching a video about a study in the UK where students didn’t have their cell phones for 21 days & how it improved their lives & studies.
Then it dawned on me that my generation (millennials) were the last to go through school without constant connectivity. 1/2
Thank you @arianelange for highlighting this important issue.
This coming year, we have an opportunity to prioritize funding for pedestrian safety & road improvements in our budget — it is past time to do so & I will be fighting for that. (1/3)

Sacramento is the City of Trees 🌳, which means the men and women of @CityofSacPW are working long hours driving “The Claw” to pick up leaves & other plant material.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication! We appreciate you❤️
