@CostSegDylan @excel_ranger I've been building this, and it's almost finished. I just need to finalize the workflow! I'm very close to being able to generate an estimate in less than 5 minutes, on site.

I desperately need to get faster at getting quotes out the door. I think I'm dragging my feet because I don't like my quoting process. Currently I just email a quote off, but I really want to start quoting in-person instead of just emailing it, because it should lead to a much higher close rate, but I don't have the process in place yet, and Jobber is pretty limited with helping you do this.

Last thought: why give people time to think about it? Only give time to "think" if they present a real reason why to think about it. If the offer is good, the need is there, and there is pain in waiting...have them move forward! I imagine a big need from them is timing...$ today locks in preferred timing.

@excel_ranger This is my thinking as well.. So you think speed of delivery is more important than having a second meeting and giving them a chance to think about it a little?

Give them availability while in person and potentially include a bonus if they close today. AKA include handicap spots for free / updated signs / something you can throw in that isn't that much work, but is something they will lose by not moving forward. And then take a deposit to lock in the price

Yea this is what I'm thinking as well. My job minimum is above that threshold, and when asking for a large sum, I don't expect people to close on the spot. But, I think giving them a number on the spot might be the play, and just followup afterwards on the phone and email. still trying to wkr this out.

@JaredDHardin Create yourself a Claude Code app that can be accessed via login via web browser and have the output be a PDF. You can then take that PDF and put it into an email. Or connect it to your Quickbooks / invoicing software and have it send automatically to an email you put in

@christianziza @helloitsaustin I haven’t connected it to Google ads, but can. We’ve been running ads for years now but with an initial setup done by a (not great) agency a while ago. What might you suggest?

@izhongyuting @helloitsaustin Thank you. I’m not an ads specialist, so I can figure it out, but knowing what the checklist should be and how to have it all interact in sequence and on schedule would be a hunt and peck scenario

The hard part usually isn't teaching Claude a better prompt library. It's giving it structured access to the live account + clear actions + an audit trail. Once it can inspect search terms, recent changes, settings drift, and conversion signals, the useful skills get much more concrete.

@chamath It’s called the ontology and it’s why $pltr is the only one who’s figured out AI deployment at scale without a 3-5 year failed deployment.

This may be a dumb question but I’ll ask it here anyways: I can’t find a good way for my various AI chats to automatically sync its conversation history into a structured knowledge base. So that as I update various chats from time to time and refine context, my knowledge base automatically grows with this new info.

Today I'm building my first ever AI employee using Claude projects. My current bottleneck is lead generation, so I will be focusing there, specifically I have a fresh pot of coffee and just queued up 5 hours of Metallica.🤘 It's going to be a great day.

@JaredDHardin N8n is good for this. Claude cowork is ok but in order to run, you’ll need your computer running for scheduled tasks.

Something X / Twitter is not understanding when it comes to AI: I don’t need you to teach me how to do something. I need you to teach my Claude to do something. And make it tailored to my business by interviewing me / telling me exactly what context it needs so I / my AI can implement.
