@Femalegirl7 Better question: is it better to take the hint when it wasn't intended or not take the hint when it was?
I'm not going to do subtle like that. If you can't at least give me an innuendo or something, I'm going to default to "she's nice."

@kangminlee It saddens me to hear people criticize Frieran for all the things that makes it unique. The fights are nice, don't get me wrong, but the true value of the story is in everything else. It's not afraid to be slow, to give weight, to focus on the minutia.
English

This scene from Frieren captures why I love this anime so much. Its poetry lies in its restraint, where timelessness weighs heavy on the tiniest, most fleeting human moments.
Himmel’s memoir may hold grand stories, but what lasts are these quiet, everyday glimpses into her immortal life. Simple instances he cherished so deeply: the ordinary afternoons, the unspoken glances, the unremarkable seconds that meant the world to him. And the world to Frieren too. These beautiful yet bittersweet moments gave meaning to her seemingly purposeless, infinite life, where now she carries on his legacy and the lessons she learned from him.
And those overlooked gentle interactions with family and loved ones, they’re our best moments too. The soft breathing of your newborn against your chest, the loving glance of your spouse during rest, the laughter of a family gathering. The ones we realize too late were everything. That’s why this scene resonates so powerfully.

Seeing Frieren's everyday life through Himmel's eyes is so beautiful 🥹

@DAKKADAKKA1 Funny thing is: how many of them go unnoticed in India...? How common is it over there? Inbreeding is inbreeding. Don't matter when or where.
English

Man. This is the guy Indian people keep posting as a racial epitaph against white people. He honestly is more coherent and put together than the vast majority of Indian “content”. Lmao

Chuck Norris Was a Great Action Star -- but Politics May Overshadow His Legacy variety.com/2026/film/opin…
English

@Skyebrows Chuck Norris didn't die
It was merely time for him to go play cards with God again
English

@DAKKADAKKA1 Funnily enough, 1963 was when Lyndon B. Johnson became president, Mr. "I'll have those n*****s voting Democratic for the next 200 years" and 1964 was when food stamps first got established.
So, yes, 1960 Blacks were different because the tools of their destruction were still new
English

People will post this and not even comprehend that the blacks of 1960s America were completely different from the ones today. Not ruined by SNAP and section 8. Besides when you factor in the millions of Africans that came to this country from the 1980s till now.

@TheMuppetPastor Chuck Norris didn't need to check with Saint Peter to enter heaven, he just signed the log book and walked in.
English

@pipkinpippa Chuck Norris didn't die.
Chuck Norris finally decided he had enough of the limelight and has chosen to retire to heaven.
And may this legend enjoy a retirement deserving of his renown.
English

@SandyofCthulhu What is there to morn?
Chuck Norris didn't die, he just finally had enough of the limelight and retired.
And may he have the greatest retirement a legend like him can possibly have.

Jesus H. ... This "tribute" lists his death year as 2024. I saw another (which used an image of Stephen Seagal!) listing his birth year as 1926.
AI is destroying even our ability to mourn our heroes correctly.

Morning bloopers!
Who wants to be my discord kitten? I'll boost you in video games.
Thank you to the lovely @Det_Molotov1234 for this ❤️

@ApexImperialist Regardless of how a jury responds to it, even if provoked, assault is still assault. Doesn't matter if you were goaded, it doesn't matter if they said "I'm going to hit you" and you replied "do it", words do not make it legal.
Regardless, the case is likely to get thrown out.
English

There is a video of Clavicular getting slapped by a beautiful woman and pressing charges against her.
A lot of people are supporting this scumbag, and I think it is worth looking at the longer video. I don't want to hear any of the bullshit about "We're getting back at women for mistreating us!!!"
Let's be real, she has nothing to do with what other women allegedly did. I don't do collective punishments, and you have to let go of your resentment. Not to mention that people who make such statements are projecting the behaviours of the worst women ever recorded online on all women. If something goes viral, it is generally because it is unusual. Don't take unusual stories and project them on the entirety of society.
He harassed her, he goaded her into hitting him, and he got slapped. Now he's whining about it and pressing charges? His behaviour is pathetic and unmanly.
English

@DAKKADAKKA1 Imagine if this happens all movie.
You see a bunch of random characters with STRIKING similarities to their cartoon counterparts.
Then it turns out they're just random people.
The actual mutants show up at the end and they're well cast.
Would be a wild bait and switch.
English

@The_Bloooop @Det_Molotov1234 No, just felt like the post was giving major Kiseki vibes
English

@Kick_Champ For anyone seeing the clip:
If someone says "I'm going to hit you" and you shoot back "do it" or "go ahead" that does not suddenly make assault legal. Even if provoked, assault is still assault.
English

@philthatremains @Clavicular0 Nothing quite as funny as that moment of panic when you don't retaliate, but still hold someone accountable for their actions.
Like they were expecting the train to just keep on going, but a portal to hell opened in front of the track.
English

@TheMuppetPastor Chuck didn't die. The world just finally agreed to give him his privacy.
I hope he enjoys his retirement. Of greater men, there have been few.
English

No, death has had a near Chuck Norris experience!!!
