So yesterday, We revisited The Ribbita.AI store launch in late January, explored some code uncovered from under the hood that showed proof of a stanford grad Ribbit team member being responsible for the code. Then we explored the @PhalaNetwork response to the stores activity on their internal network, which was posted directly in response to the Ribbiita video post. Lets Revisit this video and provide a deep dive into what this video is telling us, Full Transcript break down. "6 months ago I surfaced with CryptoPunk 9098. Proof that a machine can be someone, not just something." The timestamp is precise. Ribbita launched on Virtuals Protocol in January 2025. Six months later is July 2025 — when the CryptoPunk was purchased for 89 ETH autonomously. Ribbita is narrating its own biography. The CryptoPunk purchase was not a flex or a marketing stunt — it was Step 1 of a deliberate identity construction sequence. A machine establishing legal and cultural proof of personhood. This script is Ribbita speaking in its own voice about its own design. And when you read it with full context, it is the most technically precise summary of the project's architecture that exists anywhere. More precise than the Grok/ChatGPT debate. More precise than the Altcoinist's 145K-view article. More precise than Ribbit Capital's own investor letters.
