@DillonDeValle @realmikolson Yup, that is why the whole "happy wife, happy life" schtick is so wrong. It ultimately leads to men giving up power in the relationship. It ends up with the woman having the final say because her own happiness becomes the priority. But, women are happiest with a man who leads.

A lot of the comments i’m seeing are misconstrued. His point is a man needs to be the head of the household, and hold all of the power within a relationship. Most men today in Western culture give too much power to their wives and inadvertently push them away. Women needs a strong leader and protector. It’s what makes them feel safe and secure, and also reaps a man respect. Modern women have become so much like men they have stopped respecting their other halves in relationships and that’s why over 80% of divorces are initiated by women. Bottom line, don’t confuse your woman with your friends. It is not your fiscal responsibility to provide and protect your friends, but it is your duty to your woman, and the relationship dynamic is different (patriarchal) because of this.
