You do know Jay Dyer used to be in the most prestigious calvinist seminary in the US before he converted to Roman Catholicism, right? He literally used to defend calvinism with the same BS talking points until he escaped its wickedness. He knows what he is talking about and is freeing the souls bound by its demonic influence.

Does know, and is intentionally lying about the Protestant (in this case Calvinist) position on salvation/sanctification I’m not even a Calvinist, and even I can clearly see this is a total misrepresentation of the view. Calvinists, and Protestants in general, just as the Bible teaches, do believe that the Holy Spirit works in you throughout your life and actually changes you. This is called sanctification. The difference is, we don’t believe that our sanctification in any way merits our ‘final justification,’ like the Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholics do. We believe that sanctification is a byproduct of justification that’s already been fully imputed (James 2). Everyone, please stop listening to Jay Dyer for your theology.

Can we get a Protestant on Tucker who actually represents us accurately without the strawmen? Jay Dyer (Orthodox) reduces the Calvinistic/Reformed view of salvation to "mere mental assent" — with the only change being God's disposition toward a person. That's not what any Protestant teaches, other than the hyper free-grace OSAS antinomian fringe. We teach justification by faith alone in Christ: a sinner goes from hating God to repenting and trusting Him. This is a real spiritual regeneration by God's grace alone, not just rubber-stamping an individual as "saved" and sending him on his way. Yes, we are legally declared righteous at the moment of faith: Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. But Scripture also teaches sanctification — not as a means to achieve salvation, but as a byproduct of becoming a new creation in Christ: 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. Those whom God justifies in Christ, He will also glorify: Romans 8:30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

Is Joshua Haymes’ CREC church going to let the layman speak at the conference in November of infamous white nationalist, antisemitic, and kinist influencers without confrontation? Joel Webbon, James Fishback, and Dale Partridge are fully committed to false teaching on Jewish and black people, the curse of ham, and more. Haymes’ CREC church also didn’t do anything when Haymes announced he was a race realist (also known as scientific racism) last year.

My argument is that you and White and Winger favor the echo chamber. I and the Orthodox favor having the right Faith, which none of you are interested in. When the popular Faith has the right Faith, then we will have the right Faith. That’s the end game. We want the truth to be popular because it’s true, not because it’s popular. You don’t want the truth, you just want your echo chamber.
