@dravidamnadu @_YogendraYadav True why 50% increment, if it is based based on population, let it be based on population. TN misused this opportunity of higher votes against all south states, it shouldnt be continued to do same in future.

@_YogendraYadav TN would not accept the 50% increase gimmick. Now TN + PY 40 UP 80 Difference is 40 After 50% increment TN + PY 59 UP 120 Difference will be 60 Advantage NORTH INDIA. We won't accept this sinister plan. TN should be rewarded for its achievements.

If proportionate increase had taken place (39 x 543/850) TN would have got 61 seats, but they get 50 as per these bills. Hence its -11

Delimitation debate lo clarity kavali. Noise kaadu. First, what I SUPPORT 👇 India democracy Proportional Representation medha run avuthundi. 1947 lo ~33 crore population… ippudu 140+ crores. But Lok Sabha seats? Almost freeze lo ne unnayi. Time maarindi. Representation kuda maarali. And facts clear ga chepthunnayi: AP: 25 ➡️ 37 Telangana: 17 ➡️ 25 Tamil Nadu: 39 ➡️ 59 Karnataka: 28 ➡️ 42 So South ki seats thaggipothayi ani cheppadam — pure narrative. Everyone is gaining. But here’s what I DO NOT SUPPORT 👇 Problem population kaadu…ONLY population ni base ga tiskovadam. Responsible ga behave chesina states — population control chesina states — vallani side ki pettadam democracy kaadu. Idi dangerous precedent. Message enti ante: “Population control chesthe, political power tagguthundi.” Ala unte… future lo evaru responsibility tiskuntaru? Democracy ante just numbers kaadu. It’s also about fairness & balance. If delimitation only population meedha untundi ante long-term lo structural imbalance create avuthundi. India is a Union of States. Not a competition of population. South India privilege adugutledhu. Just fairness adugutundi. Representation undali. But balance kuda undali. Truth simple: Delimitation kavali. But fair Delimitation kavali.

As per Amit Shahs speech and logic in the parliament. A father has decided to pass down his inheritance to both his sons Ram and Sham. Ram the eldest already had 1 lakh in his account and Sham had 20k in his account. Their father gave Ramu 50k and 10k to Sham and called it equal justice. #UnfairDelimitation

Put that in the Bill. Where exactly does the Bill mention proportionate increase? What's the need for the Delimitation Commission? South don't want mere assurances. We need everything in writing. AP has already lost its special category status by trusting such verbal assurances.
Lokesh Nara@naralokesh

Grateful for the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s assurance to the nation, on behalf of the NDA, that the proportion of seats of each state in the parliament would not be affected in the delimitation exercise. No injustice would be done to any state. This is NDA’s guarantee. @narendramodi @ncbn

True bro what about communities who followed and who didnt follow, there are families with more than 10 kids and family with one or two kids, how should that be done. Can you suggest some better way that these ten persons will get less vote share that is equal to one or two persons of other family.

Delimitation: Hindu Disenfranchisement Trap The RSS-BJP-Modi government has introduced the 131st Constitutional Amendment Bill and the Delimitation Bill 2026 in a special session of Parliament. This will increase the number of Lok Sabha seats from 543 to 850. It is being presented as a step to implement the Women’s Reservation Act (Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam). In reality, the main purpose is to redraw the political map of India using fresh population data (likely from the 2011 Census or a newer one). This will end the current freeze on seat allocation that has been based on the 1971 Census. While opposition parties are criticising the move for politically marginalising the Southern states, no one is talking about the civilisational marginalisation of Hindus in their own ancestral homeland. Here is the demographic reality Hindus are ignoring. Official Census data clearly shows the decline of the Hindu population share: Hindus: 84.68% in 1951 → 82.73% in 1971 → 79.8% in 2011 According to the India's EAC-Prime Minister’s 2024 report on religious minorities (1950–2015), the Hindu share fell further from 79.8% in 2011 to 78.06% in 2015 — a sharp drop of 1.74 percentage points in just four years. Meanwhile, the Muslim population share rose from 9.84% in 1951 to 14.09% in 2011. Between 1950 and 2011, the Hindu population grew about 3.2 times, while the Muslim population grew nearly 4.9 times. These official Hindu numbers are actually inflated. They hide serious losses due to: Large-scale Christian conversions (including “crypto-Christians” who still report as Hindu in the Census) High Muslim fertility rates Illegal infiltration of Bangladeshi and Rohingya Muslims Non-Hindus (Ambedkarites, communists, HINOs, etc.) being counted as Hindus Independent assessments suggest that the real share of practicing Hindus in India today is closer to 60–65% — and it is still falling. Already, more than 9 States/UTs and over 200 districts have non-Hindu majorities. This is not alarmism. It is demographic warfare that has been going on for decades. Demography is destiny. For a deeper exploration, see my book, "A Quiver Full of Hindu Arrows: Reclaiming a Civilisational Narrative.” Why Minorities Are Not Protesting — Because They Gain When the Lok Sabha seats increase to 850 and are reallocated through #Delimitation based on newer population data, the number of Muslim and Christian MPs will rise sharply, while the number of Hindu MPs will fall. That is why Muslims and Christians are not opposing the seat increase or delimitation. They are quietly supporting it. The #PseudoHindutva RSS-BJP-Modi are deceptively presenting this as “women’s empowerment,” but in effect, it is enabling a dangerous shift. The North-South divide is important and will become sharper. But the deeper and more serious fault line is religious. Hindus who are supporting “development” or “more seats for women” without understanding these numbers are walking into a trap of political disenfranchisement. The ancestral homeland of Hindus is being electorally handed over to its civilisational enemies. Wake up Hindus now, or watch your civilisational inheritance disappear.

I see many tweets having lot of concerns on proposed delimitation. Why don't centre invite all parties, listen to their concerns, incorporate it by properly wording the bill and send to states for vetting. The bill can be passed after states have seen and signed off. There is no tearing hurry to pass the bill. All the things agreed between centre and states should be documented and made as constitutional amendment.

Saying “more MPs won’t improve governance because MPs aren’t administrators” misses the point entirely. Parliament isn’t an executive body- it’s a representation system. India has ~25 lakh people per MP, one of the worst ratios in the world. More MPs don’t fix administration, they fix representation, accountability, and access. Not administrative efficiency, ur administrative effectiveness.

This is exactly the time for internal fighting. Tamil Nadu never cared for Karnataka's share in Kaveri water. Britishers ruling Madras presidency arm twisted Wadeyars into agreeing for lesser water share for Mysore state and curtailed the height of KRS dam. You guys used the same agreement as the basis for arguments in all the tribunals and courts to grab more share in the water allocation. Never gave respite to Karnataka during deficiency years and constantly went to courts to get the water as per the final ruling for your crops even when there wasn't enough water for drinking purposes in Karnataka. You guys are not even allowing us to build one more dam to store water from excess years, to balance the water in the deficiency years. You did all this based on your superiority in political numbers compared to Karnataka. When finally Karnataka is slated to get its due share and have a chance to reverse the damage done by your "numbers" you are asking us to be united because some North Indian states are also getting more "numbers"? You acted as a bully when you had "more power", and now asking us to stand behind you to save the very same "more power"? WHY SHOULD WE?

Exactly like the call on which train needs to be run between Bangalore and Mangalore is taken in Chennai. Exactly like why railway stations in Mangalore come under the Palakkad division. Some things may appear to not make any sense in real life. That doesn't mean one needs to "feel as victims" always. Reiterating again - Tamil Nadu and Keralam are not victims of any sorts. In most of the cases they are the culprits when it comes to matters related to Karnataka. When they have power at their disposal, they behave exactly what they accuse Delhi of.

Karnataka holds 28 Lok Sabha seats. With the proposed expansion to 850 seats, Karnataka deserves at least 44 seats and 6 more for achieving a TFR of 1.7 through responsible population control. Punishing this success with fewer seats is unjust. Karnataka contributes ~9% of India’s GDP, hosts Bengaluru, the world’s fourth-largest tech cluster, and employs millions of people in IT and other sectors, creating jobs for millions of Indians. A state that drives the economy and controls its population should not lose its political voice. #Delimitation #NammaHakku #OurRights

What is this South VS North, Andhra and Telangana part of south India having same language got divided in 2014. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have unresolved water issues. SCS to AP as promised in AP Reorg Act is opposed by the same south Indian states. If every state is acting as per their interest what is the south India unity we are talking here.

Many Kannadigas still don’t understand delimitation. It’s not a joke. It’s a direct attack on South India’s political power. Mocking Stalin won’t save us. South must stand united and fight together when our future, our voice, and our rightful share are being snatched away.

Karnataka has seen migration into not only from north India, but also from other South Indian states. Then why should we not allow delimitation based on the latest census. We have to cater for migrants in the state, as well as be happy with little political influence in the centre? I don't understand the logic of Kannada activists. You wish for a pro-Karnataka regional party in the state to have political hold in the central government. But, when we are getting that chance eventually, you are crying because Tamil Nadu and Kerala are losing their influence? Why are you worried about their politics? Let them suffer. Tamil Nadu and Karnataka can't have a difference of 16 seats when the population is almost the same. If we get political parity after delimitation, Modi will stop blabbering "Tamil is the oldest language" nonsense and Gandhi-Wadras won't dictate terms from Wayanad.

Why should we oppose, the undue advantage of TN will be removed by delimitation, which is good for AP, KA and TG. Did TN fight for cause of any other south state, they are worried about state, similarly we have to worry about our respective states. The states mentioned above are run by opposition parties, who will oppose any proposal of the government irrespective of who is getting benefited.
