They won't put it in the bill. The verbal assurance is only to survive in the upcoming Tamil Nadu & Kerala elections. You will get to see their real faces once they're done away with the elections in the South.

Put that in the Bill. Where exactly does the Bill mention proportionate increase? What's the need for the Delimitation Commission? South don't want mere assurances. We need everything in writing. AP has already lost its special category status by trusting such verbal assurances.

@pratyushaTDP For Amravati, they needed constitutional amendment,a sovereign guarantee. But in this case assurances need to be trusted. Political consistency goes a long way in politics.
