Personally what I see is post-AI, I cut 99% of my SaaS subscriptions and just built free replacements myself
Now I only pay for AI and servers and storage, but now with rising prices I'm paying more for all of those than before
So my business spending is much more concentrated to a few companies who I pay 10x-100x more per company than before
From ~30 companies that I'd pay $100/mo to 3 companies I pay $10K/mo (roughly)

@ship_together Anything where 60% precision is good enough and is no decision making, can be automated. I fully automated my blog posting, where I just drop one sentence, AI pulls more info from my files, generate article in my tone, image and post it.

@addyosmani @googlecloud How do you manage context? The longer agent run the more context it's missing. Even using SDD, it's often difficult to plan and execute with acceptable results in the same session.

🆕 @AnthropicAI's Claude Opus 4.8 is now generally available and rolling out in GitHub Copilot.
Early testing shows:
• It demonstrates a clear step forward in code understanding and generation across a range of real-world coding tasks.
• It handles complex problem-solving and large-codebase navigation with notable improvement to previous versions.

I tried to catch AI agents visiting my www. Built a two-layer trap: tracking pixel + special page asking bots to check in with their owner’s email. Result was a total silence. llms.txt - ignored, User-Agent empty or as a regular user. Tracking them is impossible.

Claude Code is running in the background, even when MacBook's lid is closed. Especially, if you trigger remote session. Then, you can just check on your phone if the task is finished, so you don't even have to carry a laptop.

I laugh when I see people in holding their laptops half open so their Claude Code doesn't shut off All my projects run on a @Hetzner_Online VPS with Claude Code installed next to the sites/apps that I work on and I just SSH in with @TermiusHQ and it keeps going forever even if I disconnect (I use Mosh or Tmux or I just /resume) My MacBook Pro battery life is also much better as everything happens on the server not my laptop I work so incredibly fast now, it's like having a secret benefit over everyone else who are still AI coding on a laptop, then deploying to their server, while their battery life dies and they can never close their laptop And whenever I want I can just switch to Termius on my iPhone and continue working! My workflow is literally: I have a bug or feature, I open Termius, I type it in the project tab, it fixes it, every fix it auto commits to GitHub but it doesn't actually deploy from there anymore because it's editing the site on the server live I don't recommend that to everyone, but I do recommend getting a VPS you can code from and then use as staging and test and deploy from there to your production server

ANDREJ KARPATHY JUST DECLARED THE END OF PROGRAMMING AS YOU KNOW IT. Not an exaggeration. A framework. Software 1.0 was explicit code that humans wrote line by line. Software 2.0 was neural network weights trained on data. Software 3.0 is English. Natural language as the programming interface. LLMs as the computer. Prompts as the code. The entire history of software development was a workaround for the fact that computers could not understand humans. That workaround just became optional. In 40 minutes, you will understand why.
