False. A person’s immigration status makes them a target for enforcement, not their skin color, race or ethnicity. Law enforcement uses ‘reasonable suspicion’ to make arrests, as protected under the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The Supreme Court has already ruled that such actions are in line with the Constitution.

@chicagobars @jewelosco 😱 Ground beef is expensive! Even at Aldi where I shopped yesterday. I mainly go to Jewel & Aldi. I find when I physically walk into the store for a couple items, I walk out w/way more than I need & spend way more than I intend to. I control costs better by using Instacart.

My Chicago political insight this weekend is that a basic basket of groceries shouldn’t cost what it did at @jewelosco today & I’ll be supporting candidates this spring who can persuade me they’ve done their own grocery shopping a couple times since 2022.

The FBI has confirmed this alleged letter from Jeffrey Epstein to Larry Nassar is FAKE. The fake letter was received by the jail, and flagged for the FBI at the time. The FBI made this conclusion based on the following facts: -The writing does not appear to match Jeffrey Epstein’s. -The letter was postmarked three days after Epstein's death out of Northern Virginia, when he was jailed in New York. -The return address did not list the jail where Epstein was held and did not include his inmate number, which is required for outgoing mail. This fake letter serves as a reminder that just because a document is released by the Department of Justice does not make the allegations or claims within the document factual. Nevertheless, the DOJ will continue to release all material required by law.
