Reform voters seem to think that if Andy Burnham wins in Makerfield, Restore voters are going to feel so guilty about it that they're going to cancel their membership and abandon the project.
... as a Restore Britain member myself, I struggle to articulate how crushingly stupid this assumption is. I can quite easily laugh heartily at it though, so there is that.

Restore have genuinely scuppered their own ship by standing in this by-election. At best they will get enough of a vote where Reform will be able to point and say “look, Restore handed Labour this win. Make sure to vote Reform” At worst they will get such a low percentage of the vote it will be embarrassing. There is no win condition for Restore from standing in this election. It’s unbelievable short sightedness.

What a superb Reform UK candidate we have in Makerfield @RobKenyonReform who will be a first class MP, standing up for his local community. Rob is absolutely right about Manchester taking resources away from towns and communities like Makerfield... we have exactly the same problem in Havering with the Greater London Authority. We need reform in Manchester and in London too!

We now have half a dozen or so polls showing Restore persistently on 7-8% and the gap between Reform and Labour at 4-6%.

We have spent 3 years tearing down Labour.
If Reform win Makerfield that finish line to their demise is right there, if they lose we have a new Labour PM, government and at least 3 more years of this hell hole.
Rupert will have to take the blame for it and while the media is quiet about Restore now, they wont be on June 19th and will tear Rupert a new one!
