So today I got a reply on my appeal after nearly 4 weeks of waiting. I basically got told my ban will not be reversed and was not given the reason for my ban. At this point I just have to go with the clan messages as my ban reasoning because if it were literally anything else I would have gotten slam dunked on twitter already by them. I guess I picked a good time to get banned since the game is by far in the worst state it has ever been in and I really cannot see them recovering from it. For now I'll just be playing Destiny Rising and Lost Ark until a new game with a raid racing scene comes along for me to play. I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to all the friends I have made playing this game, ya'll are the reason I kept going through all the BS in the game and I genuinely love you guys. Really disappointing that this is how it ends but if they wanna ban me for something I have seen countless players do before with no repercussions than it is what it is. The fact that I am now the 2nd WF player to be banned while being completely innocent of any wrongdoing is honestly a shame. Clan chat messages of me joking about cheating are not proof of anything. Frankly, I do not care if it is against TOS, expecting players to know every little detail about a 15 page TOS is unrealistic, especially when 90% of it goes unenforced. Anyways, sounds like I'll now be a spectator of future raid races so good luck to my boys in Indebted on the epic raid, you guys got this one in the bag.

Alright, tweeting about this now because I physically cannot take reading all these replies insinuating I cheated. The reason why I believe I'm banned has to do with some messages that were sent in clan chat the day before the raid race. Numerous people in the clan were making jokes in clan chat about flying through the raid with cheats (myself included) and I name dropped a popular cheating site in one of my messages which im assuming is what got the message flagged. The only thing that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me is how I'm the only person who's banned but I'm guessing it has to do with how well we were doing in the race. This theory isn't 100% but I was the only person on the team who participated in sending those messages so that at least tracks. Keep in mind, these messages were sent in a clan chat with like 80 people and 2 of my teamates were streaming at the time. I would never say stuff like that in game for everyone to see if I wasn't joking. Also, my experience on this topic is that saying stuff like this in game chat does not get you banned, but I'm guessing in the context of the raid race they take it more seriously. In hindsight yes sending those messages was dumb and I apologize for sending them and I do understand why messages like that would be a big red flag from bungie's POV. If this is the reason all I can hope is that my vod and other added context proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that nothing nefarious occurred during our contest DP run. Just please know that I feel very sorry for this whole situation and I would never and have never done anything to impact the integrity of a contest race. @A_dmg04 @Destiny2Team @BrunoLouviers @Cozmo23

@A_dmg04 Suffering from uncertainty right now. With all the changes to Light Level, what is light level is contest going to be on Saturday? -30? -40? Is the difficulty going to be the same as previous contest modes? Maybe harder or easier? Lots of changes yet know so little.

This just isn't true. For a new player they will only have until the 15th (EoF Release) to play the three echoes because after then all of that content will be vaulted.

Regarding further reports of perk weighting: While we have confirmed that there is no intentional perk weighting on weapons within our content setup, we are now investigating a potential issue within our code for how RNG perks are generated. Many thanks to all players who have been contributing to data collection across the community. This data has been monumentally helpful with our investigation, and we are currently working on internal simulations to confirm your findings. We will provide more information as soon as it is available.

@Pur3Pineapples But perhaps a general learning point would be to learn to take sound feedback with more credit. Even so, it wouldn't change the shattering glass problem.

@Pur3Pineapples Lack of feedback was the real killer. Made it impossible to stay positive with even "Witness' notices your efforts" not even being perfectly replicable (timing wise) in our day 1. I barely even remember what caused the sounds to activate, removing shadows or smth else. Eko sad...

raids having surges at all is horrendous, if the raid races now have surges there is zero possible chance anyone heard any feedback about the surge modifiers in pantheon.

Possibly one of the worst changes to happen to Destiny in years. Kills speedrunning and most challenges. Please consider reverting this, allowing players to turn them off, or turning them all on. ANYTHING but a weekly rotation PLEASE

Surges change is funny bc raids are still going to be harder than before even with surges now that its -5 AND we are now forced to abide by what surges are active every single week, @Destiny2Team who asked for this??? Your genuinely appeasing no one with this change
