Anyone been experimenting with GPT-4 vision / Claude 3 for OCR? Sending it an image of a scanned PDF and trying to get the text out? I tried it just now (with GPT-4) and I think it may have hallucinated most of the text, anyone else seen that before I really start digging in?

@pmddomingos @OpenAI Who is JE? Is that your legit screenshot ? ChatGpT responded with “light hearted” jokes for each example I just tested with no inconsistency. I then tried this example on GPT4 and no issues.

Generally, ok. But generic MAF formula is not near accurate lab testing. Get a proper benchmark, so you can then test for improvement. Otherwise, it’s just a declining scale as you get older? I’m also not certain i understand improving V.O2 just for the purpose of V.O2? Adjusted /(more aggressive than 4x4) training for endurance sports is typical. Get V.O2, lactate threshold and HRZ dialed in at the lab. Work a plan, then test again for improvement.

@cnakazawa Yes. Intelligent irrigation system was no scam for me. Monitors past and upcoming rain schedule and adapts to minimize water usage. Better for the environment, better for my wallet. Greener, hardier lawn. The unit I bought paid for itself in less than 2 months of summer usage.
