With tourist "attractions" like these, why would anyone who can afford a trip abroad, travel within India? Except temples (for which there is no other option), hardly anything good within India. Let's be honest.

Poor waterfall is just surrounded by hideous, half finished buildings. Flanked on all sides and being attacked. Being nature is a crime in India. No sense of aesthetics, no planning, zero space, civic sense dehydrated tourism.. #nature #Uttarakhand

The Real Story of Gaurav Tiwari: India’s Brave Paranormal Investigator Are there invisible forces in this world? Are ghosts and spirits real, or are they just creations of the human mind? This is the true story of a fearless adventurer who dedicated his life to finding scientific answers. His name: Gaurav Tiwari. Early Life and Childhood: Gaurav Tiwari was born on 2 September 1984 in Patna, Bihar, India. He grew up in a family that strongly rejected superstition and blind beliefs. From a young age, he was passionate about films and acting. At just 16, he appeared in small roles in Bollywood movies such as 16 December and Tango Charlie. Dream Career as a Pilot: Driven by his passion for flying, Gaurav trained as a commercial pilot in Singapore around 2005–2006. He later moved to Florida, USA, where he worked as a professional pilot. Life in America was going well until a series of mysterious events changed everything. The Turning Point in America (2007) While living in an apartment in Florida in 2007, Gaurav and his roommates experienced disturbing paranormal activity a classic poltergeist case. They heard footsteps on the ceiling, whispering voices, and even saw the apparition of a young girl. These incidents deeply affected him. Instead of ignoring them, he decided to investigate scientifically. He completed a Certified Paranormal Investigator course and participated in over 80 investigations across the United States. His curiosity grew into a mission: to understand the unexplained using science and logic. Return to India and the Mission: In 2009, Gaurav made a bold decision he left his promising pilot career behind and returned to India. He settled in Delhi and founded the Indian Paranormal Society (IPS), one of the first organizations in India dedicated to scientific investigation of paranormal claims. Gaurav and his team investigated more than 6,000 reportedly haunted locations abandoned forts, old houses, forests, and palaces that people had feared for generations. He would stay alone for days and nights at these sites, using advanced equipment like EMF meters, thermal cameras, audio recorders, and spirit boxes. He appeared on numerous television shows including MTV, Fear Files, Aaj Tak, Zee TV, Sony TV, and others. He also explored UFOs, hypnosis, and even became an ordained minister in a metaphysical church. His goal was to fight superstition and blind fear through knowledge and rational thinking. Mysterious Death: On 7 July 2016, at the young age of 31, Gaurav Tiwari was found dead in the bathroom of his home in Dwarka, Delhi. There were dark ligature marks around his neck. According to the police and post-mortem report, it was a case of suicide he had used his wife’s dupatta to hang himself from the shower curtain rod. The police closed the case, ruling out any foul play. However, his sudden death raised many unanswered questions that continue to this day: 1. Did the very forces he called “fake” take revenge on him? 2. Did he encounter something terrifying during his investigations that pushed him to this extreme step? 3. Was he murdered by people whose business of superstition and fear-mongering was threatened by his work? With Gaurav’s death, the revolution he had started to awaken society came to a sudden halt. The man who fought to remove fear from people’s minds left behind one of India’s biggest paranormal mysteries. His life remains an inspiration for truth-seekers, while his death continues to spark debate, fear, and curiosity. What do you think? Which of the three possibilities seems most likely to you? Share your thoughts in the comments. 👻🔍 #GauravTiwari #Paranormal #IndianParanormalSociety #GhostHunter #Mystery #TrueStory

Totally in agreement with @PMOIndia on curtailing travel, fuel use etc. If it’s a global crisis, and beyond our control, self discipline will be the best foot forward. However, I also have a suggestion for @narendramodi ji. 🙏 Sir, collectively we have close to 5000 MLAs and MPs in India. Whenever they move, official vehicles aside, they are accompanied by hordes of followers and supporters. Never seen even an MLA with less than 5-8 vehicle convoy. And sometimes these cavalcades run into hundreds of vehicles. And political leaders, across parties, travel daily to multiple locations. The convoys never shorten nor stop. You can add 2-3 independent vehicle convoys to immediate families of entire number too, just for calculations. Collectively, we are talking about hundreds and thousands of vehicles daily, running for no apparent reason other than accompanying the leader and ‘to be seen’, and clocking millions of miles each day. Sir, if you can direct these leaders, to cut down these illogical miles, it not only would help the present initiative, but also set a case for better future where twenty cars with horns blaring on roads don’t push commoners like us aside because the leader has to travel by supersonic speed to fashionably arrive late at his / her next function. You’ve been a common citizen like us. You didn’t inherit the chair and power. I’m sure you understand the sheer insult and disgust we feel when bulky bouncers and cops hanging out from pilot and other vehicles just shove other vehicles around. So you will be resolving this crassness and unruly behaviour too. Practical problems are surface repressions of deep rooted cultural issues. Like your Swach Bharat initiative. No amount of infrastructure can keep India clean if we don’t stop throwing garbage on roads. I think, in the same manner, car pooling, minimising travel, not running ACs in cars in parking because the VIP cannot ensure 20 seconds of heat while the car cools when AC is switched on, traveling by public transport - all are more of cultural issue than practical ones. And I’m very sure, a step taken by leaders will go a long way in making your initiative successful, sir. Jai Hind - An Indian citizen.

If the most Hon'ble PM wants us to use less oil i.e Petrol , Diesel & use public transport, he should ask all his ministers & state CMs & their ministers etc not to use cavalcades. More importantly all government babus must only use public transport!

"While commercial satellite imagery released by Western companies extensively documented damage at Pakistani military installations, the same companies, Maxar, now renamed Vantor, and Planet Labs, released no imagery of the Indian military sites allegedly struck by Pakistan during or after the conflict. Meanwhile, Pakistani losses were subjected to open-source scrutiny, while Indian losses were not. Both readings of the conflict contain elements of truth. Yet, neither is complete. The gap between the two narratives is not merely rhetorical, say analysts. It has consequences for how honestly each side is absorbing what the conflict actually revealed, and how seriously the task of addressing genuine vulnerabilities is being taken." @abidhussayn reports: aljazeera.com/news/2026/5/10…

A Qs for those living outside Tamil Nadu: would any other major state welcome as chief minister in today’s India someone whose full name is Chandrasekaran Joseph Vijay . What TN has shown today, may India do tomorrow: respect our unique multi-religious, multi-cultural diversity and give everyone a fair shot at their dreams. ⭐️👍

@FromBelagavi @bharatvarsha03 Thats because most kannadigas are not into rollcall olaata activism. They are proud kannadigas AND proud nationalists. When mr pai started his venture they did not question his non kannada ancestry. He was a proud son of bharatha hence kannadigas supported him.
