This is one of the most disingenuous things I've heard @elonmusk say. It's wrong and dangerous. Tesla is being sued — and in some cases has already lost or settled — over crashes where the plaintiffs argue that Autopilot or FSD actively contributed to the crash. Not that the system failed to save a driver who would have died anyway, but that the system made a mistake a reasonable human driver wouldn’t have made, or that Tesla’s marketing led drivers to trust the system in situations where it wasn’t capable. Those are two very different categories: 1. A crash FSD couldn’t prevent (driver error, pedestrian darting out, another car running a red light). 2. A crash FSD caused — either by making a perception or planning error, or by lulling an over-confident driver into not paying attention to a situation the system couldn’t handle. Musk is conflating the two. He’s rhetorically moving every FSD crash into category one so that every lawsuit looks like an ungrateful family suing the company that tried to save their loved one.

New release of FSD Supervised now starting to roll out This update brings 20% faster reaction time to further increase safety, among many other improvements Full release notes below Full Self-Driving (Supervised) v14.3 includes - Upgraded the Reinforcement Learning (RL) stage of training the FSD neural network, resulting in improvements in a wide variety of driving scenarios. - Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, improving understanding in rare and low-visibility scenarios, strengthening 3D geometry understanding, and expanding traffic sign understanding. - Rewrote the AI compiler and runtime from the ground up with MLIR, resulting in 20% faster reaction time and improving model iteration speed. - Mitigated unnecessary lane biasing and minor tailgating behaviors. - Increased decisiveness of parking spot selection and maneuvering. - Improved parking location pin prediction, now shown on a map with a (P) icon. - Enhanced response to emergency vehicles, school buses, right-of-way violators, and other rare vehicles. - Improved handling of small animals by focusing RL training on harder examples and adding rewards for better proactive safety. - Improved traffic light handling at complex intersections with compound lights, curved roads, and yellow light stopping – driven by training on hard RL examples sourced from the Tesla fleet. - Improved handling for rare and unusual objects extending, hanging, or leaning into the vehicle path by sourcing infrequent events from the fleet. - Improved handling of temporary system degradations by maintaining control and automatically recovering without driver intervention, reducing unnecessary disengagements. Upcoming Improvements - Expand reasoning to all behaviors beyond destination handling. - Add pothole avoidance. - Improve driver monitoring system sensitivity with better eye gaze tracking, eye wear handling, and higher accuracy in variable lighting conditions.

Intel is joining Terafab! Tesla, @xAI and @SpaceX are launching the most epic chip-building effort ever – combining logic, memory & advanced packaging under one roof terafab.ai
Intel@intel

Intel is proud to join the Terafab project with @SpaceX, @xAI, and @Tesla to help refactor silicon fab technology. Our ability to design, fabricate, and package ultra-high-performance chips at scale will help accelerate Terafab’s aim to produce 1 TW/year of compute to power future advances in AI and robotics. It was fun hosting @elonmusk at Intel this past weekend!

Something to keep in mind - once Tesla $TSLA drops below $319 per share, it will drop below the trillion dollar market cap it brags about. Making it worth less than the trillion dollar compensation Musk demanded from the company to stay on as CEO. The entire company will be worth less than the compensation package voted on by its mindless shareholders at the last AGM. A package Musk has done sweet fuck all in the interim to earn. This bubble can't pop fast enough.

A very ugly $TSLA downgrade. JPMorgan cuts Tesla estimates, sees 60% share downside JPMorgan reduced estimates for Tesla following the Q1 deliveries report. The deliveries missed expectations while Tesla's energy storage installations of 8.8 GWh also surprised by falling 15% year-over-year, the analyst tells investors in a research note. JPMorgan keeps an Underweight rating on the shares with a $145 price target. The firm continues to see 60% downside to its December 2026 price target and advises investors to approach Tesla shares "with a high degree of caution." The stock prices in "materially stronger distant out-year earnings expectations," contends JPMorgan.

Jeff Bezos has $222 billion. If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over. And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.

I just went through Elon Musk's page. No word on the Artemis II crew's Moon landing or their beautiful Earth shots. If this was done by SpaceX, he would have been talking about it nonstop. The guy is petty. Come on, celebrate a good thing even if it not done by your company.

Nvidia, Uber, Waymo — The AV Stack Is Being Rebuilt Without Tesla Surbhi Jain 03/30/2026 14:46:08 Benzinga Newswire The autonomous vehicle (AV) race was supposed to be Tesla’s to lose. Instead, it's starting to look like a market being rebuilt around it. Because while Tesla is still pushing its full-stack vision, a very different model is quietly taking shape — one that doesn't need Tesla at all. The AV Stack Is Splitting — And Scaling Fast Start with Alphabet’s Waymo. Following a fresh capital raise, Waymo is accelerating fleet expansion and ride volumes — and as JPMorgan analyst Doug Anmuth notes, estimates are now being revised higher, with the fleet potentially scaling from ~3,000 vehicles to ~50,000 by 2030. At the same time, Uber Technologies is stitching together a global AV marketplace. Rather than building everything in-house, Uber is partnering across the ecosystem — from Zoox and Wayve to OEMs like Rivian Automotive — while expanding its relationship with Nvidia. Anmuth highlights that this growing network of partnerships is increasing the likelihood of a fragmented, multi-player AV ecosystem — one that naturally favors a marketplace model like Uber's . This isn't a single-company race anymore. It's an ecosystem. Platform Vs Product Is The New Battle Tesla's strategy is clear: own the car, the software, and the network. But the market is moving toward separation. Uber is building the demand layer. Nvidia is emerging as the compute and software backbone. Waymo and others are scaling the autonomy layer. OEMs are supplying the vehicles. Each piece is becoming modular — and more importantly, replaceable. That creates a very different competitive dynamic. Instead of one winner, the AV stack starts to resemble cloud computing — multiple players, each owning a layer. Where Does That Leave Tesla? That's the uncomfortable question. Tesla still has advantages — data, vertical integration, and a massive installed base. But it's increasingly betting on a closed system in a market that, as Anmuth's analysis suggests, is trending toward collaboration and shared infrastructure. And scale is no longer exclusive. Waymo is ramping. Uber is expanding. Nvidia is enabling. Tesla doesn't need to lose for this to matter. But if the future of autonomy is a shared ecosystem, the company that tried to own everything may end up owning less than expected. $TSLA $GOOG $UBER $NVDA $AMZN $RIVN
