@lady_valor_07 I was forced to eat everything. I might sit for an hour trying to finish lima beans. It made me detest eating for a long time. Meals were a chore to get through and not to enjoy. It took me a decade after leaving home to discover that people could actually enjoy meals.

As I've previously said, having more options doesn't necessarily make them better. But Chicago and NY are neck and neck.

New Orleans is No. 1, and it isn’t particularly close. Seattle and LA are not in the top five for me. Portland has a better food scene imo, especially with the food trucks. Vegas and Houston are also top five especially Houston with their BBQ.

@ditz_carlton As a lifelong born & raised New Yorker, I completely understand why people from other parts of the country would not be comfortable in NY and would never want to live here. But I traveled the country over the years and found very few places I'd even consider living there.

Rain all day expected in Seattle so the roof, which is more like an umbrella, is on. This genius way of building a ballpark should have been duplicated all over the league but never was (this place opened in 1999)

@concertvids34 @realseattlemike @eboland11 Is that a rule about Stadium Concerts only in the Spring & Summer? Why not the Fall or Winter? I've sat through freezing cold & rain MLB games in March, not to mention terrible weather NFL games in October & November (much less December). It's too late now, but I wish for a roof.

@Dutch1968 @realseattlemike @eboland11 Stadium concerts only happen in Spring/Summer anyways Metlife gets a ton. Not to mention Citi/Yankees Stadium have hosted soccer & bowl games without a roof. Both SB teams this year play at outdoor stadiums. Pats don't even make it if Denver had a domed stadium.

@black_42 Interesting. If you Google or use AI for the Top 10 Cities for Restaurants in the US, Chicago doesn't make the list. NY is #1. Miami, SF, Houston, Seattle are top 5. I've only passed through Chicago, so I'm no expert on the city's food. But it seems like a leap to put them #1.

@concertvids34 @realseattlemike @eboland11 My wish for a roof goes beyond the 81 Home Games for the Yankees or Mets. The Jets played at the Polo Grounds and Shea Stadium. The Giants played at Yankee Stadium. You could have the NFL plus major concerts year round with a roof.

@realseattlemike @Dutch1968 @eboland11 The absolute best weather I have had checking off ballparks during concert trips was Yanks at M's in 19': low 80s partly cloudy with no humidity in August. But I know too well from friends in Coastal Wash/Oregon after summer the rains come in haha.
