Kinda crazy to me that everyone is writing off NFTs & blockchain gaming when arguably the biggest consumer trend over the past year has been the rise of Pokémon and other TCGs. Especially when TCGs are the functional equivalent of “offchain” NFTs. It wouldn’t surprise me if somebody is finally able to crack this nutshell and deliver a new TCG game that leverages tokenization and NFTs to deliver a better gaming/collecting experience.

I mean, he is leaving anyway, so I will say it, even if I get attacked for it. Enzo Fernandez is by far the most overrated player in the squad. He is an absolute liability OOP, and part of the reason Caicedo has dropped off so significantly the past few months. Leaves him tasked with far too much to do, and has finally had fatigue catch up to him. Most times doesn't impact the game, but will somehow manage to get a GA that masks his mediocre performance.

I want to have a platform for digital collectors to talk about their favorite pieces in their collection. And maybe show the cardboard folks we’re just collecting in a different way. No fees, no ads—just a place for us to come together. More to come soon.

It’s too bad @michaelrubin and @Fanatics attempted to kill sports NFTs. I get why they did it, but it was absolutely akin to blockbuster laughing at Netflix business model in 2000. Eventually leagues will demand separate licensing agreements for NFTs, we’re just not there yet
