Anyway, however "underrated" I may think the show happens to be, it did run for seven years and air 154 episodes, so it had its moment in the sun and then some. Farewell to @Elementary_CBS. I will argue that, over its run, it was among the very best network dramas on the air.

I like most variations of SHERLOCK HOLMES that I've consumed in film and TV. As it airs its final episode tonight, I will argue that @Elementary_CBS is essentially the BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES of Sherlock Holmes adaptations. It's great and mature and always scaled-to-life.
