@shoppingbear Thank you! I’m also disabled with a long list. MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome) is the most problematic. Basically allergic to life & I’m on the more severe end, so lots of EpiPens. The hope of glory & knowing we’re just passing through is so comforting. Prayers for you too!

@EmilyFurda @BethMooreLPM Prayers for you sister. I relate. I'm on permanent disability due to a comically long list of medical fun, and God has used my relationship with Jesus to remind me I have an eternity in Glory to enjoy a body with no sorrow and stressed attached. Praise Jesus.

I don’t know where I’d be, not for the life of me, without Jesus. By the time you’re my age you’ve been through so dang much. Good and bad but you’re just not ready for how shockingly little of it turns out to be within your control. But it was in his. And he has been faithful.

I had to have emergency waffle fries today and I don’t care who knows it. Like all of a sudden. If I’d had a police light I could’ve rolled down the window and stuck on the roof of my car, I would have used it.

@BethMooreLPM I love this! About 10 years ago I noticed how “same” my life was when it came to people. I asked God to bring “different” & became intentional in relationships. People with 1 or 2 things we connect with & then embracing our differences. I LOVE the friendships I have because of it

A wide variety of friends is one of my favorite things about living. Friends of diverse categories, I’m here to propose, make the world go merrily round. I caught myself smiling with a good many teeth about this today while driving home from the grocery store. I have friends with whom I share a love of books, others, a love of music or movies or dramatic series or birds or dogs or critters or trees. Oh, and basketball. Well, and hair. Others who share my deep appreciation for absolute absurdities. For the kinds of things I find most hilarious. Those with whom I share a near drunkenness — euphoria, I do mean light-headedness — on the sight of most any kind of newborn. Human, calf, canine, kitten, rabbit, name it. Those, you probably know, with whom I share a love of Jesus, of Scripture, of wallowing in Scripture until we’ve nearly worn the ink off a page and God himself has grown weary of us. Let me think what else. Hmmmm. Did I say food??? I think this has been a grace from God in a fairly challenging existence to love lots of different things and, so, lots of kinds of people that love those different kinds of things. I reckon this is a large part of what keeps me out here and in it. And smiling with a good many teeth.

@CindyBrunsonAZ My mom & I have been yelling the same thing. I think this year I’m rooting for chaos on the men’s side. I love seeing others’ busted brackets when I’m stressed. 🤣
