Craziest thing and sorta wonderful. I keep reliving various seasons of ministry at Living Proof in my dreams. I know this is because of the impending farewell as we transition to minimal staff and the sale of our building by June 2027. I have dreams that recapture even the coworkers I had during this season and that amid 4 decades. We’re serving together again in those dreams and very realistically, all the way to the hard work and laughter. Last night the dream was with 4 of us in our present staff and we cried together talking about how deeply we would miss one another. It’s so fascinating and meaningful and I wonder if perhaps a gift from the Lord. I have loved all of these people through the years so so much. They’ve meant the world to me. And he’s letting me relive serving with them. Isn’t that something?

I think Acts 2:24 is one of the most astounding verses in all the Bible. “God raised [Jesus] up, ending the pains of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by death.” Not possible. Death did not hold him because it COULD NOT hold him. A whole sermon in 1 verse.

Just think. When Christ’s kingdom fully comes, we’ll have all sorts of creatures just laying around the yard. Like a giraffe or even a rhino or I’d like to request a baby elephant and, well, a lion and a lamb and what all.

@EmilyFurda @BethMooreLPM Prayers for you sister. I relate. I'm on permanent disability due to a comically long list of medical fun, and God has used my relationship with Jesus to remind me I have an eternity in Glory to enjoy a body with no sorrow and stressed attached. Praise Jesus.

@BethMooreLPM I needed this reminder today. Thank you for posting it. Yesterday was 27 years since all the health stuff started & today another idiopathic anaphylaxis. Some days that veil between heaven & earth feels thinner than others. So thankful for His faithfulness as we’re on this side.

I don’t know where I’d be, not for the life of me, without Jesus. By the time you’re my age you’ve been through so dang much. Good and bad but you’re just not ready for how shockingly little of it turns out to be within your control. But it was in his. And he has been faithful.
