On Tuesday, I had the honour of speaking about @ArweaveEco and @aoTheComputer at the first Permabite discussion ever hosted here in Uyo. I shared the little I know about the Arweave architecture and what AO is in its simplest form. I tried as much as possible not to go too deep so everyone could understand the little I had to say. Overall, this is a highlight moment for me because it’s my first time as a public speaker, and I have @Victor_Ephraim7 to thank for that. He saw it fit that I should be the one to handle this introduction since I’ve been building here for a while. I just want to say: @ArweaveEco and @aoTheComputer is nothing like we’ve seen before in this industry, and I believe in what they’re building. There’s so much potential that has yet to be unlocked on AO and Arweave as a whole, and I can confidently say I’ll be there through it all. Once again, I’m grateful for this opportunity and hope to offer more support in my own little way.

The first Permabite discussion in Uyo was a success🔥📈 We gathered Web3 enthusiats for a discussion on "Beyond Blockchains: AO's Hyper-Parallel Future." It was fantastic to introduce most participants to AO for the first time. A major highlight was having @victorokpukpan_ , a 2-time Hackathon winner on the @aoTheComputer ecosystem through @WeaveDB_Nigeria explain AO's incredible potential. This helped bridge the gap, making AO's capabilities and the opportunities to build and even earn highly relatable and inspiring. I highlighted some products to make the onboarding easier, like @usewander, @decentramindio, @EventPassAR, @forgeAO We discussed the "Why" of AO, addressing the limitations of traditional blockchain compute and the pitfalls of centralized services that often undermine true decentralization, and discussed how AO's hyper-parallel design is the key to unlocking genuinely unbounded and scalable decentralized applications while using Arweave as permanent storage and also listened to the Mainnet day message presentation by @samecwilliams and other great team/founders in the AO/Arweave The feedback was positive, and it was fulfilling to onboard new faces and foster stronger connections within our local Web3 community. A huge thanks to @aoTheComputer for supporting community activations and inclusion through the Permabites program.
