@MessmersSoldier @oliver_drk Yes I agree I'm just pointing out that she is likely a secondary character bc you can't have stellar blade without blades lol

@Exuberant1One @oliver_drk Where are the blades? She’s trained in hand to hand combat using those glove things she wears. She clearly has a different fighting style to Eve but still looks badass.

@Poutinerable @Correactor Exactly. They are weirdos. They try to demonize people that like attractive people lol. Liberal mentality. Right now it's western civilizations biggest plague. Bc it's a social disease.

@Exuberant1One @Correactor The funniest thing is that the same people demonizing sexuality/sex appeal are champions of sex workers/sex industry So designing a fiction character to be attracive is immoral, but trafficking real women is empowering or some shit

Stellar Blade Blood Rain's opening shocked me. The city and the mechanical design were so good, it was like a next-gen Cyberpunk 2077. Really made the show for me and the audience really cheered. More than for other games.

@darkenral87 A demo is not a tutorial. It's a sample of the game. The enemies were way to slow and stupid. You can disagree all you want but when it sells like shit you'll be asking to make the game to a broader audience

@Exuberant1One It's useless because the demo is a tutorial, it will surely serve as a mechanic later

Many people are complaining that the enemies in the Onimusha demo are not aggressive enough and that this lowers the overall difficulty. What I find ironic is that this criticism is being directed specifically at Onimusha, when it's actually a common trait in many action games on Normal difficulty. Just look at titles like Ninja Gaiden 4, God of War Ragnarök, or Devil May Cry 5: in most cases, if the player just stands still, enemies won't immediately swarm or relentlessly attack. That's a fairly common design choice intended to keep the standard difficulty accessible. It's also worth remembering that Onimusha has never really been known as an exceptionally difficult series. Its identity has never been about fast-paced, hyper-aggressive combat. Instead, it has always focused on a more defensive and reactive style of gameplay, where timing, reading enemy attacks, and capitalizing on openings through mechanics like Issen are the core of the experience. Comparing it directly to action games built around constant offensive pressure misses what Onimusha is trying to achieve. That's why I think discussing the game's "difficulty" based solely on a demo is somewhat pointless. We can have that conversation when the full game is released and, more importantly, when players get access to the Dark Realms and other endgame challenges designed to truly test their skills. For now, it makes more sense to get familiar with the combat system, mechanics, and overall feel of the game rather than drawing definitive conclusions. Judging an action game's difficulty based on whether enemies instantly aggro a stationary player for a few seconds seems like a very limited way to evaluate the depth and challenge of its combat system. #onimusha

@EndymionYT @DestinLegarie John wick ballerina did not do well. This game has an 80% make demographic. Unless it reviews very well I'm not interested in a gow game about a dead mom using a mom sword to fight mom gods against the tyranny of man God.

The problem is it’s called god of war, when it doesn’t star anyone who is one. I was hoping they would call it God of Stories or something, but I guess the God of War name is too valuable for SEO & brand so here we are. Either or, whether it’s fun or not, people are tired of the forced Sony female protagonist meta. It’s way too much now. It just is man. The afterlife idea is cool tho

Some of the wild stuff y'all are saying because some people might miss Kratos a bit is a tad much. Laufey is probably going to be great. It's Santa Monica. They don't miss. It's also ok to also miss The God of War in a God of War game. Sheesh.

@PotatoCam69 God of war 4 has an 80%+ male player base. Which is why a father and son journey resonated so well. Not a story about a dead mom partnering with a cube and a female sword to fight a female god because of the tyranny of male gods.

@kris_Blaz96 Probably bc it's playing more like DMC. In the first gow you couldn't juggle an enemy until mid to late game. She's spamming square owning the one flower clicker. Wow so cool 😆

@Drazon333 Less about that and more about the overuse of purple. Every main character is a woman. And everyone evil is a man. Like send help. Housemaids. Women hate men and we see it in your work. Men idolize women.

@shawnthompVA Even if it is everyone has their own preference. We live in a world where people change genders. But I man can't ask to play a manly game? It's marketing. It's target demographic. We don't have to accept everyone. Realize that some people like masculinity, realism or other.
