Big update: We just closed the book-building, raising almost $19M! Lords of the Fallen II is being built entirely on your feedback. We will deliver exactly what you want. Huge thanks to all the investors who got excited about our Players First vision. They know listening to players is rule #1 for success — and now we have the fuel to fully unleash it. You will see…

@RomlettClips Lmao he literally says in the clip that he is the CEO of his own company that is called Channel 5. If you're trying to glaze Clavicular and this is the best clip you have that's actually fucking hilarious.

Clavicular told a Channel 5 reporter he works for them and the reporter was VISIBLY UPSET and fired back saying he does NOT work for anyone and is the CEO 😳👀

@PaulTassi The character in Skyrim is just you. It's just Dragonborn, not a named character with a whole story written for them specifically.

LMAO when you tried to call out the fact that this game just looked like a buncha structureless random activities people called you a hater and contrarian. All it took to convince yall was a Jetpack, An RKO, and big ass empty map. I been gaming long enough to know.

@mattthebassman @kunaiss @BrokenGamezHDR_ Almost all of them are saying there is an issue with the story. A huge part of your motivation comes from the narrative when they design the game around that narrative. Seems like it would've benefitted from being designed more like a souls game with more mystery.

@Correactor @kunaiss @BrokenGamezHDR_ Bro. Op is literally saying that he’s reading the world is “empty” meanwhile LITERALLY every single review (even the negative ones) are PRAISING the world for its exploration and rewards for exploration

@FinalFantasyCJ @JakeBaldino Elden Ring has a story that its community loves specifically because of the way it is designed. Crimson Desert phoned-in a more involved, traditional-style narrative and doesn't even have character creation despite being so incredibly focused on choice. It's actually bizarre.

CRIMSON DESERT starts rough. I honestly disliked the first 8 hrs. Once it opens up and you get more power + abilities, it's a TON of fun. So many gameplay systems but they don't feel cynical or half-baked. I wish there was a better story but combat/exploration hooked me 1/2

@Alpha_Remix_HD @_LarZen_ @HoegLaw People love the story(lore) of Elden Ring because of the eccentric and mysterious way it is told. Souls games would lose an essential part of their identity if the story were told a different way. Crimson Desert phoned-in a traditional style narrative without character creation.

People were saying this could be a GOTY contender 😂 Though I guess it could technically still be one if the Game Awards gives it the Black Myth: Wukong treatment and nominates it based on popularity instead of quality, yet again breaking the record for lowest metascore nominee.

@kunaiss @BrokenGamezHDR_ OP isn't saying anything contrary to that fact. The bigger a world is the more compelling my motivation needs to be to explore it. It just seems like a giant grab bag of random stuff the devs thought would be cool, and that reasonably breaks immersion for many.

reminds me of the reception to Wukong a bit. We'll see. I think people who were hoping it was what it was will appreciate it and it will do well

@HumanistReport If you're implying that you wouldn't vote for Newsom in a general election, kindly eject yourself from politics because you are a LARPing toddler and people like you are why we are dealing with people like Trump.

Hate to say it but tonight's election results indicates a lot of Democratic primary voters are, indeed, stupid enough to vote for Gavin Newsom in 2028.

@Johnny2Cellos There should be two kinds of remakes, a visual remake and a total overhaul. The visual one should be for games that remasters wouldn't be enough for, and the overhauls shouldn't change any fundamental aspects about the game unless they're dated and it doesn't change the feel.

@egoraptor I think the difference between a remake that goes too far and one that stretches the meaning to its limit is the difference between Final Fantasy VII Remake and the Resident Evil remakes. Fundamental changes to gameplay and plot shouldn't be happening in remakes. Make a new game.

I think people forget or just never knew that Resident Evil was a huge hit, and RE style tank controls were a trend. They are antiquated now but were popular then. That is to say… Resident Evil is not some quirky indie art game. All games are certainly art in some way, and of course many talented artists worked on those games, but let’s be real. I think what many people who get riled up about whether or not the RE remakes count as “playing that game for real” need to make peace with is that these multi-million dollar video games are not precious… they are products. You may have a very profound relationship with these games and this world and these characters and that is really special and good, but waxing poetic about how and why remakes exist and what they should be and how they’re not the same is sort of missing the forest for the trees. They are made to make money, just as the originals were.
