it took 2 decades to get rid of my depression and almost 2 years to fix my brain to the point where i can feel happy. i feel free of the sludge in my body that wanted me to die. i cant stop looking forward to the future and fighting for people where i was so they can join me here

I remember this being a thing for a while, for sure. But also in the Broly movie it's stated that Gogeta's power isn't just added together from Goku and Vegeta, but magnified (multiplied) far beyond that. Potara does the same - slams them together and significantly magnifies their power. So they both work, as far as power scaling goes, basically the same through different methods. In fact, Toriyama himself ended up stating they're equal in power. Think it was a Shonen Jump interview with him before the Broly movie released.

@SebastinPortals I love them both but regardless of people bringing up what Old Kai said way back in Z...the one with the higher win count is better. Vegito hasn't actually won a single fight. Gogeta actually has wins. Even if it's only 2 (not counting omega shenron), only one put up numbers.
