Sounds like Crimson Desert will deliver just what we’re expecting, at least in terms of exploration!
Great to hear this is a world you can easily lose hours in just travelling the map and taking it all in.

Crimson Desert has a dramatic difference in visuals on PC just by using a different denoiser.

The ending of the Digital Foundry Crimson Desert PS5 Pro video literally gave me goosebumps.

Performance is also looking a lot better than I expected.

@Sumibubbles I watch 10-15 hours of Twitch a day usually. It’s just always on for me. A number of creators on there are like “comfort food” to me & enjoy watching them.
I’ve probably sent less than 5 messages in any of their chats in the 10 years of watching Twitch. But I sub & use my prime!

My partner watches streams on Twitch daily. Has been since it was still JustinTV. He barely ever chats. He uses streams like boomers use TV. Why should his view be less worthy just because he does not feel like engaging? Not everyone wants to talk to the person on screen.

@ThaWinston1 @SavinTheBees Get the lite version. The apps ratings are so low because of data they track and stuff. The lite version doesn’t have that but you have to install it in a way that doesn’t involve the store.

@TheCinesthetic There’s a fan edit of the movie that tries to adjust its narrative flow to be more similar to that. Still doesn’t fix everything but I agree that keeping the story from JLs perspective works better as the audience surrogate.

Passengers (2016) had the bones of a great movie. Told from Jennifer Lawrence’s perspective as a psychological thriller, with Chris Pratt slowly revealed as the villain, it could’ve been genuinely unsettling. Instead, it plays it safe.
