As much as I hate the name Nik Sant (bc it’s stupid stupid name), that is not Rex. Dave retconned it to be Rex in like 2016 than like 3/4 months later unretconned it.

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) keeps getting dismissed over a thirty-second origin gag, while the rest of the film just moves. Train heist, Donald Glover locking into Lando & a crew dynamic that actually clicks. It never really got judged on what it is.

@JasonSokol3 @ComicsShauna I just personally think war which can break mentally even the best people going into the war, would mess strongly with a guy who already is having psychological breaks before the war even officially begins.

@JasonSokol3 @ComicsShauna But if your psychological breaks are: mass slaughter of tuskens & genocide of your own religious sect, I think it makes sense to show he is having psychotic breaks throughout the war. That’s how I personally write the character. Showing moments of Ep1 Anakin popping thru.

100% honest, TCW doesn’t fix the movies bc Anakin is fundamentally a different character and the clones have depth that disappears once RotS starts.
That’s not to discredit TCW, it introduces a lot of really interesting political, military and mystical stories.
