44 Democrats just killed a resolution condemning AIPAC.
No roll call. No names. No record.
They made sure of it.
80% of Democratic voters hold unfavorable views of Israel. 80%. The party’s own base — by an overwhelming supermajority — wants accountability.
These 44 members just told them no.
Not in public. Not on the record. In a room in New Orleans where nobody had to put their name on anything.
The sponsor called it “an embarrassing display of cowardice.”
She’s right.
And while they were hiding behind parliamentary procedure, Politico was reporting that two potential 2028 Democratic presidential candidates personally called DNC members to kill the resolution before the vote.
They don’t want their names on protecting AIPAC.
So they made sure nobody’s name would be on anything.

🚨HOLY SMOKES: A Xavier University student just confronted Senator Elissa Slotkin at a town hall in Ohio.
The question was simple: pro-Israel lobbies and their donors have spent $4.5 million on your campaigns. Why?
Slotkin’s response wasn’t to answer the question.
She suggested the student was conflating pro-Israel lobbying money with Jewish people.
Nobody said anything about Jewish people.
The student asked about $4.5 million in lobbying money from groups supporting a foreign government’s military policy.
That is not antisemitism. That is a campaign finance question.
This is the same playbook the DNC used in New Orleans yesterday. 44 members killed the AIPAC resolution without a roll call. Two potential 2028 presidential candidates made phone calls to stop it. And when the sponsor called it cowardice — leadership called it divisive.
Now a sitting senator is using the same deflection at a town hall in Ohio.
A student asked where the money comes from.
A senator changed the subject.
$4.5 million buys a lot of subject changes.
