Anthropic seriously underestimated how much compute this market needs. This is exactly why OpenAI is going all in on trillion dollar scale compute ambitions. Without compute, there is no real AI business.

How to cancel your Claude Code subscription in 60 seconds. Tutorial below 👇 claude.ai/settings/billi… Anthropic slashed Claude Opus 4.6 rate limits with no warning. $200/month Max plan. Rate limited in under an hour. I just cancelled mine. I also cancelled my BridgeMind team plan. Anthropic, I'll resubscribe when limits go back to normal. Until then, Codex with GPT 5.4 is home.

the rolling window detail doesn't really change the core issue though , if the limit was already counting down before anyone was told the rules had changed, users were being penalized under a policy they didn't know existed yet. that's the transparency problem people are reacting to.

Google has developed a new internal AI tool named “agent smith” Remember, we are still waiting on project, mariner which deepmind demod in December 2024.. which had not released till the summer last year and is only available to early access users on the ultra tier. So hopefully this is Google’s response to anthropic’s computer use & dispatch, as well as OpenAIs Atlas and Agent Apparently, Google’s agent Smith had to become so popular that “the access had to be restricted to handle the influx of employees”

Claude Code and Claude Cowork support Open Telemetry... but the product most people actually use today, Claude Chat, doesn't One thing to say... Why?! Claude team! 😩 Something this essential should've been there day one for every enterprise, we don't have it Building observability is becoming unnecessarily complex work, it should be trivially easy CC: @trq212 @bcherny @amorriscode @felixrieseberg

google's bankrolling a massive data center just for anthropic and the numbers are wild. → nexus data centers is building a 1GW+ facility in texas, powered entirely by on-site natural gas turbines. → banks are fighting each other to lend up to $5B for just phase one. → google already owns about 14% of anthropic and they've locked in a deal for 1 million TPUs. → this isn't a small bet, it's a full infrastructure commitment between two companies that technically compete. i think google figured out the smartest AI play isn't building everything in-house. it's financing the company most likely to rival them.

@frankyecom Curious what prompt structure you used for the product lighting , that's usually where AI video falls apart. Did you do multiple short clips and stitch, or single generation?

No need to hire influencers in v5.1 A video like this would cost a brand $400 in products and another $750-$1k in influencer fees… 3 weeks of turnaround between shipping / filming / revision requests. This took 20 minutes… and was $2 This will be the new go-to for content

there's a lot of new products right now that are all competitive with each other and at the surface they all roughly look the same but if you zoom in man some of these teams are 100x better and the the difference will eventually be obvious

One way to see the advancement of AI is to see how much further you can get with new models on the same hardware Here is "an otter using a laptop on an airplane" generated on my home computer using the open weights Wan 2.1, first try. We have come pretty far in 18 months.
Ethan Mollick@emollick

On one hand, these are obviously much worse "otter using wifi on an airplane" than any state-of-the AI text-to-video generation, it looks like something from 2022. On the other, it was done entirely offline on my computer using open AI video generation tools, a new capability.

Claude Cowork + Arcads = AI Content Factory We built a fully automated system that repurposes, localizes, and launches winning AI influencer content across hundreds of creator-style accounts. It’s so effective it feels like running Facebook ads in 2008. - CPMs as low as $0.10 - no reliance on paid ads - no ghost creators - no wasted samples - no lost time My $300/monthly tech stack which replaced $50k+ budget: - cruva / Fastmoss for recently viral content ideas from competitors - Heygen or ArcAds for video - now using my own phone posting network for automated posting Here’s how it works: •Each AI Agent spins up a TikTok Shop–ready profile, built to sell my products through shoppable videos. •Agents are prompted to research the niche, scrape winning TikTok Shop videos, and rebuild them with new hooks, angles, and UGC-style visuals tailored to your brand. •They create and post daily using my tech stack onto affiliate accounts No touchpoints. No delays. Just shoppable videos going live and GMV compounding every week. Then we use an MPS (Multi-Platform Swarm) approach: once the concept works on TikTok Shop, we deploy hundreds of AI Agents to flood the niche with variations that all drive back to your Shop and Amazon listing. I’m giving you access to the full stack — the ai workflow, ready to plug into your TikTok Shop today. Comment “Workflow” and I’ll send you everything. (must be connected) PS – Repost for early access to the full TikTok Shop content factory system.

@mattshumer_ opus already sits at 1249 on the lmsys coding leaderboard , top of the chart. if the next model is 'dramatically' smarter, we're talking about a jump that could make current benchmarks look quaint.

Interesting that Samsung is consolidating around Perplexity so heavily , powering both the native assistant and Bixby plus now the browser puts them in a uniquely embedded position. Most AI partnerships are single-surface deals. This kind of deep OS-level integration is harder to displace and gives Perplexity usage data across multiple touchpoints simultaneously.

@t_blom Seed-stage payroll is still ~65-70% of burn, but I'm watching teams quietly reallocate headcount budget to inference costs after each failed hire cycle. The crossover might happen faster than 2026 for AI-native startups building with small teams and heavy model usage.
