Courage beyond words. Chaya is just 14 years old. She was at Bondi Beach during the Hanukkah terror attack and she saw an elderly woman and a younger woman who had both been shot. “The elderly woman was shot in the stomach and the younger one was shot in the head,” Chaya recalled. “They were screaming, ‘Please save my son, please save the children.’ All that was going through my head was: my mission is to save these children, and this is God testing me.” Chaya crawled out from under the bench where she had been hiding, even as people shouted at her to stay down. She ran to two young children and shielded them with her own body. As the shooting resumed, she thought: “I don’t care. I’m saving them. Whatever happens is for the good. And if I die saving children’s lives, that’s the best way I could die — because that’s what God wanted from me.” skynews.com.au/australia-news…

“This massacre didn’t ‘happen’. It was built word by word, chant by chant, march by march, for two years.” Sign at the Bondi Pavillion.

Look how she casually blows out Hanukkah candles like it's the most natural thing in the world. 07/10 unleashed a mind virus where they can do blatantly antisemitic things like this, and excuse it as "well I thought it was a zionist candle". This will only escalate.

Last night in Amsterdam, thousands gathered in Dam Square to stand in solidarity with the Jewish community, after pro-Palestinian activists disrupted a Hanukkah lighting. Thank you 🧡🇳🇱

Jewish Americans make up 2% of the U.S. population yet are victims of 70% of all religious-based hate crimes. Those are the facts. The only way to defeat antisemitism is to name it, acknowledge it, and for all of us to confront it head-on. While Jews are the target of this hate, they are not the only victims. History is filled with many examples of when hatred begins, it does not end with its original target. Antisemitism today can quickly become attacks on the LGBTQ community and other minority groups tomorrow. It is incumbent on all of us to confront antisemitism, not just to protect members of the Jewish community but also to prevent the spread of hatred to other parts of society. People of all faiths and backgrounds must firmly stand together against bigotry and hatred, and the violence it breeds. In these dark times, we need the light that only our shared common values can bring.

What happened in Sydney was not random violence, and it was not simply anti-semitism. It was Jihad. And it carries a stark warning for the world.

If you aren't aware of what's going on right now, let me break it down for you. Jews worldwide are being hunted down and killed. It's only day three of Hanukkah, and already we've seen: 1. Jews murdered by a jihadi father-son duo in Australia that seriously wounded many people, including my friend @Ostrov_A (thinking of you, brother). 2. Students at @BrownUniversity were murdered in a class being taught by Rachel Friedberg, a Jewish professor who leads the school's Judaic Studies program. 3. A Jewish professor of nuclear physics at M.I.T. was murdered in his home today. 4. Orthodox Jews in New York were violently assaulted on the subway. 5. Violent Palestinian protestors disrupted a peaceful Hanukkah celebration in Amsterdam. Dozens were arrested after police had to physically surround families celebrating the holiday to protect them. 6. A Jewish family in California had their home hit by gunfire because they had Hanukkah decorations up. One of the criminals shouted, "Free Palestine." 7. An Islamic terrorist attack has been foiled in Poland at a Christmas market. 8. An Islamic terrorist attack has been foiled in Germany at a Christmas market. 9. A Palestinian terrorist attack was foiled in California. 10. France has cancelled its NYE celebrations because of the terrorist threat level. 11. Canada's Integrated Terrorism Assessment Centre has said that a terrorist attack in Canada is now "a realistic possibility." I've been studying terrorism for 20 years, and I've never seen things this bad. The West is under attack – full stop. The question now is, what the hell are we going to do about it?
