The Christian community calls anyone who’s not Christian sinners and if you don’t believe in what they believe in you’re destined for an afterlife of hell. So which group again is the one pushing and forcing their beliefs onto others more? The LGBTQ community who says “accept us for who we are” or the Christian community who only thinks their way of life is proper?

This is why I don’t take religion seriously. A truly religious person would be humble enough not to draw attention to themselves and would be spending their free time helping the needy or volunteering in shelters. This is just egotistical optics. It helps no one.

@kaizen000000000 This woman answered the free will part incorrectly but also Atheists always ask it incorrectly as well because they don't believe in free will and therefore can't understand it I have free will, but I'm supposed to submit it to God's (of my choosing) not out of force, but trust.

If God is all-knowing, He knew I would be an atheist before creating me. If He still created me, knowing the outcome, then my disbelief was inevitable. If it’s inevitable, I don’t truly have free will. If I don’t have free will, punishing me or sending me to hell seems unjust.

Okay… then by your own logic: You trust yourself to interpret Scripture. So you worship yourself as a god. Well, thanks for being so honest in your acknowledgement of what we already knew, that Protestantism is the exaltation and worship of the self.

Salvation is entirely from Christ as its source and cause, but Scripture never treats man as a lifeless object. You still must repent, believe, obey, endure, and not fall away. The idea that "if man must do anything at all, then Christ does nothing" is a false Protestant dilemma.

I've just realized I've let myself lose my love for life. I really want to be passionate about things, about planting the veggies in the garden, for drawing art and making YouTube videos, for making friends with my coworkers, playing games with my friends, the hundreds of projects collecting dust. I have so many blessings and so much to be excited about every day. I wish I could actually love being alive again.

@BishopJaxi Is there anything on your end that you have to do or is it solely on Jesus's end?

Because Scripture does not reduce salvation to a single past event. I have been saved from sin through Christ. I am being saved as He sanctifies me. I hope to be saved if I persevere by His grace to the end. This makes no sense to many people (yes, I am presuming you here) because they have been taught an artificially narrow and false view of salvation that reduces it to a singular event.
