🚨 I am demanding Speaker Burrows remove James Talarico from the House leadership positions he (indefensibly) appointed him to. Voters elected Republicans to lead the Texas House... not radical Democrats! Full letter: Speaker Burrows, Shocking statements and videos of Representative James Talarico have made national headlines, including him declaring there are “six genders,” asserting that God is “non-binary,” and using the Biblical narrative of Joseph and Mary to justify elective abortions. While his holding these liberal positions is shocking to Americans newly acclimated with him, you have been well aware for years that he holds these extremist positions and that he has pushed to legislatively enact them, such as his efforts to force public schools to teach DEI and hire DEI officers at taxpayer expense. Many of his radical statements were made prior to the start of the 89th legislative session, when Rep. Talarico helped elect you as Speaker. Indefensibly, you rewarded Rep. Talarico by appointing him to multiple positions in House leadership: making him Vice Chair of the Committee on Trade, Workforce, and Economic Development and Vice Chair of the Public Education Subcommittee on Academic and Career Oriented Education (especially indefensible given his leftist views on education). I really want to believe we live in a world where people are actually doing this.

So I keep seeing people post about this and I too wondered for awhile what happened. I streamed to a local Dallas server and never had issues, like....forever. Then poof one day the framerate drops, stream lag, and other seemingly network related issues. So what magically happened? I didn't change anything and my network is solid. So I did what any normal person would do and pulled out the bandwidth tester and wouldn't you know it...something had changed, but not on my end. I lost my Dallas server I was streaming to. So what server was I streaming to now? Wait...why do I only have 3 choices and none local to me anymore? It seemed that Twitch had quietly retired server infrastructure and few people noticed. They noticed stream quality getting worse but couldn't figure out the cause. I'm not 100% certain this is the whole issue BUT I do believe it is a big part of it. I believe we've been migrated over time quietly from the Justin.tv/Twitch.tv infrastructure that had been in place for years to the AWS infrastructure which I assume scales out now from only 3 servers. So I don't expect this to get better at all. If I'm wrong I'm wrong but I only started having major issues when servers dropped. I obviously picked the server with the best quality for my location, instead of letting OBS auto pick, and have seen improvement but I still notice issues that were never there before. So I lean towards this being what happened to a lot of people but with Twitch not advertising it it wasn't widely known.

When MAGA bootlickers get ahold of my email and ask me to fill out a survey. Fine…I’ll fill it out.
