This delusion of the Stalinoids is one of the funnier ones. Without the Soviet Union giving Nazi Germany millions of tons of grain past sanctions, co-developing tank programs and training these tank divisions, the Nazis likely would not have been ready for the war with France.

People don't hate the English football team for anticolonial reasons.
They do so because the English media and fans are extremely entitled and used to pretend their mid team were favourites and shit, and English is more of a global lingua franca than Spanish or French.

Much of the hate for the England football team is very odd. Sure, Scots & Welsh will always have the ick (Scots had a chance to be independent & didn’t vote for it) If it’s historic colonialism, why don’t people hate on the Spanish, Belgians or French in the same way? Very weird
