Sure, Jack Bech is looking like a rough selection while missing out on some good players, but hindsight drafting is almost always painful

@GunnerRaider they'll all be competing for starting jobs on dirt-cheap contracts. lots of value in that which adds flexibility to team building
with miss rates of the draft and a team with as many holes as the Raiders had past 2 years, i love the volume draft approach

@GunnerRaider Grant looked really good the very little Pete let him play. He alone could make the trades more than worth it. Caleb and Tonka both showed they could at least be valuable depth in the trenches which has plenty of value on mid round contracts

My dog asked me to build a Ty Simpson > Fernando Mendoza case and the only thing I could really point to was the pretty wild difference in Alabama vs. Indiana supporting cast last season:
-Indiana dropped 8 total passes (2nd fewest among 68 Power Four teams). Bama had 32 (2nd most). Drop % ranks were 2nd and 56th
-Indiana ranked 16th in yards per carry (5.6), Bama was 65th (4.2)
-Yards per attempt on passes thrown behind the line of scrimmage: Indiana (8.9, 1st), Bama (5.7, 25th)

Here’s the thing #nfldraft niks, when off the ESPN leash Mcshay speaks, teams feel this. I been saying it, but Simpson is going to have a more robust market than previously led on.
