@flawborough_fms @snellpeter2 Tom have you done any yield comparisons between points? We've started drilling some cereals on 2" but moved back to 5" on later drilled. Im keen to run on 2" going forward. Keep looking at drill options but i dont think you will beat a sprinter for versatility.

A bit more of a look around this morning in the rain ☔️ 1) hybrid barley into wheat (baled) 2)same field but CTF wheel with chaff deck lines having to work harder. I’m not sure a disc drill direct in to a chaff line is ideal. 1/2

@JRDSills Does it not just put more through the other nozzles?

Does anyone else blank their fert / spray nozzles behind the sprayer wheels? If in the right position, seems a low tech way to save a few percent (3% for us) on inputs. More feasible on 25cm nozzle spacing perhaps? Superglue in fert nozzle holes to create half nozzles?

@driverfarms1 @BBeazley1 I havnt brought that magazine for a long time, its all just promotion articles for the advertisers. Im my opinion the best agronomists are the ones who are brave enough to do the least but still achieve good results
