Sunflower harvest today, they’ve loved the heat this year. Best crop we’ve grown (of sunflowers) to date.

Sunflowers now about 5 feet tall, and taller than the children! They’ve been loving this weather

@matjim5 Hi Mat, the tractor is on row crops and the wheel centres are set to match the 50 cm rows. The only sunflowers that get run down are where the tractor joins the headland coming off the main work and there is very little damage.

@snellpeter2 Do the sunflowers recover where they get tractor wheels run them down? We hoe cereals but haven’t been brave enough to try in our sunflowers yet.

Second pass through the sunflowers today with the hoe. Really pleased how they’re looking.
