BLIZZARD WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR ALL OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN MN FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW! 12-18 INCHES with pockets up to 24+" can not be ruled out! (Fun fact, if is very rare for north and NE of twin cities metro to get a blizzard warning due to forestry non open land. For my county, this is the 3rd time in history we have been in one! )

- Damage Survey Update - The tornado that impacted Kankakee-Aroma Park, Illinois on March 10 has been preliminarily rated EF3, with peak estimated winds of 150 mph, according to the National Weather Service office in Chicago, Illinois.

Damage path of the tornado west of Watertown, South Dakota yesterday. Looks like the destroyed property was NOT directly hit and the core was just west of it. Significant ground scouring and tree damage as well. Huge thank you to @levikj for the flight! #sdwx @TannerCharlesMN

What a monster! Caught this tornado near Henry, SD on 7/28/25 unreal power. This was my first chase back since our baby boy was born in early June, and wow... what a welcome back! Feels good to be out there again.

@NWSTwinCities Lots of gusts that can look like tornadoes, but yet to see a tornado. This is a photo from that store. I can see how people could easily confuse this for a tornado.

This video is more indicative of a gustnado, which is more of a broad area of rotation near the ground and no clear attachment to the storm cloud base. We continue to receive reports of strong rotation with this particular storm. #mnwx x.com/Jaxon_WX/statu…
