Not sure how Colby's season will end and, as a head coach, Bernhardt could be more likely to miss, but he doesn't move the needle as much as Ajax

Regardless, shouldn't apply to the Whips much since Poitras and Levi Anderson are the only active NLL players on their roster. They should be least impacted by availability.

@andrewdakan @PremierLacrosse Yeah I do think he's better than say Sam King (similar skill set) and the fact he is committed to being a pro long-term is important, but agree he's not sooo much better than King that I'd rather get 2 impact players to pair with King and Fields/O'Keefe over adding just Spallina.

@HuttonJackson @PremierLacrosse fully agreed there, midfield makes more sense for them. I think Joey is very talented, don't get me wrong, but him definitely being an attackman means fit is going to matter a ton and is he better than the attackmen teams already have?

Not saying this is even being considered, but if Redwoods GM Joe Spallina wanted to draft Joey Spallina, would 2025 ROY Chris Kavanagh and the 6th overall pick be a fair trade package to send to the Archers for the #1 overall pick?

@mattshaler @PShore15 @PremierLacrosse Denver would need a haul to trade O'Neill, even on an expiring deal. I think they'll extend him, but even if they don't, I don't expect O'Neill to get traded. Now, as Phil says, free agency could be the way they (re)build the Team 91 roster (but still need a way to draft Joey.)

@PShore15 @HuttonJackson @PremierLacrosse It’s not a terrible idea for both teams. You can def argue Brennan is better than CKav, but the chemistry between Chris and Pat, you can’t teach that.

@andrewdakan @PremierLacrosse I don't have doubts about Joey's ability, but I think an Archers offense featuring Sam King, Chris Kavanagh, Connor Fields and Mac O'Keefe + a middie at #6 like Matt Collison or Chad Palumbo moves the needle more than just adding Spallina or Weisshaar at #1.

@HuttonJackson @PremierLacrosse I think the archers take that in a heartbeat. Chris is a much better fit for the pro game than Joey is. Still have some doubts about Joey's ability to consistently win 1v1 matchups but his offball ability would fit well with molloy and garnsey either side.

@KBizzl311 I don't think there's a plausible way of having them both on the same roster without trading away an unhealthy amount of draft capital or another young, big name player. I agree that Utah probably doesn't trade the #1 overall, but I think they'd strongly consider this deal.

@HuttonJackson Knowing how highly Joe thinks of Chris, I would think he’d want to have Chris and Joey on the same roster if it were on the table. I also don’t think the Archers are trading that pick FWIW

@VlakeVan @PremierLacrosse I think 2 years of control is still plenty of time to make this deal (+ adding another first round talent), but I love that we're talking about what a trade means 2+ seasons out and not just in the immediate future. Makes these conversations 10x more interesting.

@HuttonJackson @PremierLacrosse My only concern would be that it's a 2 year rental on Chris before he and Pat decide to team up somewhere (likely Denver but maybe salary is a roadblock there)
