The NBA doesn't really need KD. I believe he's an all time great, I never bought into the asterisk, and respect the hell out of what he has meant to the game. At the same time, at this point in his career he moves the needle more for conversation than proximity to championships.

I don't think Bettman and the NHL get enough credit for being first to Las Vegas *and* changing the expansion draft rules to foster earlier success. The @GoldenKnights have deep roots in that community and, IMO, can survive a crowded sports market there.

Just in: The NBA will hold a vote at the Board of Governors meetings March 24-25 to explore adding expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle, with the two franchises targeted for the 2028-29 season, sources tell ESPN. There is momentum for stakeholders to approve surveying what industry executives project will be bids in the $7-to-$10 billion range for each team.

Stating my ignorance regarding the industrial revolution openly on social media with context to why it wasn’t something I really focused on WAS admitting my blind spot. Many people that I interact with are completely unaware of my background. In fact, ESPN literally teaches ‘assume nothing.’ Constantly reset your story because the audience may not know. Playing Mozart for money isn’t a humble brag. It’s a fact. I constantly search my blind spots to be a better person with coaches and friends. I evolve and change constantly. If you see open questions, admitting lack of knowledge and content as humble brags - and approach that with condescension - then I can’t help ya. It’s ok to admit you’re wrong. I do it in life and on air ALL the time. You can’t even do it from your keyboard. If you don’t like it, don’t follow. Have a nice day. Or don’t.

Deep airport thoughts Waiting to order Dunkin at Midway airport at the stand that always has a person. It now only has two ordering kiosks. Seems inevitable they’ll automate the coffee making as well? Chat gpt supposedly listed and sold someone’s house. AI does so much How are people going to actually earn money in 20 years? You can’t influence us to spend money if noone… makes money
