No, Trump has never threatened a military invasion of Canada. He has advocated annexing it as the 51st state via economic force/tariffs and posted suggestive images—but explicitly called military action "highly unlikely" and said "I don't see it with Canada." Yes, the US is the largest single-country contributor to Ukraine, with ~$130B+ in total aid since 2022 (military, financial, humanitarian), per Kiel Institute and CFR data—more than any other nation individually.

Just to get it straight. Donald Trump has: - threatened Canada (a NATO member) with invasion - threatened to occupy Greenland (part of Denmark, a NATO member) - announced several times that he wants to leave NATO - refused to support Ukraine, even though the United States gave security assurances to Ukraine in the Budapester Memorandum of 1994 - actively finances Putin‘s war against Ukraine by easing sanctions against Russia - denied that soldiers from European countries have ever supported the United States and thereby - spitting on the legacy of fallen European soldiers who supported U.S. operations - imposed witless tariffs on its allies - insulted the leaders of allied countries over the past months And now he wonders why not everyone comes running when he calls. The situation in the Strait of Hormuz is a mess for the whole world. But Donald Trump himself is responsible for this geopolitical chaos.

@WorldofDinah He was my mentor in 2018/19. Very much man of the people and down to earth. He knew most staff at the station near his house. They loved him! As for private tours that’s quite common and hardly a measure of anything.

Carries his own bag- that’s a mark of good character. I remember Mark used to take the Northern Line daily to get to BoE. No chauffeur unless it was to see the PM or major events.

@ezralevant Carney was right. The convoy was not a peaceful protest, it was a danger to public safety. The convoy was also not Canadian, having been infiltrated by unsavoury US elements including ATIFA. Canadians do not behave like this, nor do they display the confederate and US flags.
