This week I am grading @SLAMiddle 7th Gr Historic Markers that students designed with our @Inventables Carvey desktop CNC machines. This project took students about 2 and a half weeks to complete and ties in social studies & ELA (what we call humanities at SLAMS) w/ engineering.

@danhigham @MattStultz @Onshape Hi Dan - yes you can use Easel Pro to generate g-code and then either export it or if you are using a grbl based machine you can send it directly to the machine to cut the part / design.

I thought the way @BenUyeda made these frames was very cool. Curved canvas is pretty rare because of the traditional production methods used to make frames. @inventables X-Carve Pro eliminates the rectangular constraints. youtube.com/watch?v=QhTyqR…
