@ViewerAnon What about Premiere makes you say this? Many multi-cam series are cut with it, Everything Everywhere All at Once (a pretty complex edit in the scope of things) was cut on it…what elements to do feel are missing in the software that makes you say this?

Friends, Adobe Premiere is wonderful but it is not designed for something of this scale. It’d be like doing VFX for a Star Wars movie in Blender.

One of my favorite BTS stories about Beast Games is that he thought his YouTube crew should have creative control, but they didn’t know how to use Avid editing software. So they cut this massive show with thousands of cameras in Adobe Premiere.

@valentinavee YOU are NO fun??? I beg to differ, my friend. I would argue being fun is more about being interesting, having interesting perspectives on life, being funny, having vibrancy in the ways you show up in life... and by that definition YOU are plenty, more than most people, F.U.N.

Sometimes I fear that what’s holding me back is that I don’t go out and party, drink, and do drugs. I know that’s where all the real networking happens in Hollywood, and I’m afraid to be branded as “no fun.”

Instead of watching my pre-recorded lectures, I download them, throw them into Adobe premiere pro, auto-transcribe the entire lecture and pull the generated captions into a word doc. During open book quizzes I CTRL+F the word doc and look for the keywords that lead to the answers
