@EzeEnthusiast Most football fans are casuals unfortunately and that’s why these takes are popular Even those who watch many matches have a superficial understanding of the tactical side of the game

Ronaldo’s 41, had no service all game and was constantly marked by 3–4 defenders, yet he gets the blame while a midfield that created nothing gets a pass. Casuals everywhere.

@jr_fundss Messi fans saw Messi score a hat trick and immediately went online to hate on Ronaldo They can’t just enjoy two good goals from Messi without comparing him to someone they say is a ‘big stiff idiot’

@mubeenr25 It is not the Aqidah of Ahl al-Sunnah But it is the Aqidah of the Faylasuf Sufis (for example Ibn Arabi) that even the forefathers of Barelvism like Fazl-e-Haqq Khairabadi hold to Honestly and academically, both sides fall into problems unless they deny this Sufi nonsense

Honestly and academically speaking, is this the Aqida of Ahl al-Sunnah (Ash'aris and Maturidis)? Genuinely interested in the opinions of Tullab al-'Ilm on here (polemics and 'loyalties' aside).

@bahlul_majnun @HarounKanj There’s no last for everyone, resurrection just takes place some time in the future but there will be events and creations after it (like the actions of the people of Jannah and Jahanam for all eternity)

@ZouhairsMurid You are probably right He thinks al-Taftzani strawmans Ibn Arabi too which makes me think he just didn’t understand al-Taftzani’s criticism either It’s to be expected though that these sufi types are not well versed in the rational sciences

@ibnrajab01 Read the bidayat al hikmah by al-tabataba’i He’s from Sadra’s tradition and the text is simple if you are aware of discussions in Ilm al-Kalam or Falsafah

@SYED_A_L_I @brethrenfpurity @al_Sadrai These topics were always discussed among students of knowledge and scholars And they still aren’t popular among the actual laymen

I don't see how any honest observer can deny the pioneering role @brethrenfpurity and @al_Sadrai have played in popularizing the discourse of the Hukama (Islamic philosophers). I don’t recall any serious discussions on Divine Simplicity or Akbarianism prior to their emergence

@SYED_A_L_I The idea that the rise of interest in Akbarian thought is because of BoP is an example of pure delusions of grandeur I say this as someone who doesn’t like the Akbarian tradition one bit

Pharaoh, Haman, Abu Jahl, Netanyahu ... are really going to enjoy themselves in hell. It's going to feel so good that they won't want to leave. As you can see, this is clearly stated below. x.com/i/status/20538…

@TheAnalyst39938 Ibn Arabi’s believes in eternity of Hell and eternal residence in fire of kuffar, but not eternal pain and suffering. After a very long time, God's mercy will prevail over wrath, and those in fire will get accustomed to it, they will not feel pain anymore but only pleasure.

@leostyleorio @HarounKanj Did Ibn Arabi refuse to believe the apparent meaning of the Qur’an while there is no evidence to the alternative view, just because a lot of people (not a hujjah) hold the alternative view? While simultaneously considering everything in his book to be from the Prophet

@ahhhhiloveart1 @leostyleorio @HarounKanj The first one that begins with الحاصل… Yes. It is the famous Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi in his book Jawahir al-Nusus fi Hal Kalimaat al-Fusus, which is a commentary on the Fusus al-Hikam of Ibn Arabi. إسم الكتاب: جواهر النصوص في حل كلمات النصوص

@ahhhhiloveart1 @HarounKanj I am aware al-Imam al-Sha’rani holds the view that the books of Ibn Arabi are distorted. Unfortunately there are still some followers of Ibn Arabi who take this view because they don’t consider those books to be distorted.

@JHS4_ @HarounKanj Brother they have added many false stuff to the shaykh's book as explained by Imam Sha'rani. Ibn Arabi himself in his authentic book explicitly says that Fir'awn is going to Jahannam. I haven't come across any of his followers that say Fir'awn died a mu'min except a few.

@leostyleorio @HarounKanj What I just sent is al-Nabulsi, al-Qaysari, and Ibn Turka from their commentaries on al-Fusus al-Hikam. Though a defence of this view is found in many other followers of Ibn Arabi’s like al-Dawwani, al-Jandi and al-Qashani to name a few.

@leostyleorio @HarounKanj The biggest followers of Ibn Arabi affirmed this belief from him and followed it. You can see their interpretation of what is mentioned in the tweet you linked Along with the defence that his view is taken from a divine source so it shouldn’t be objected to.
