@SaffronOlive In their modest defense, I think "designing for standard" became a somewhat different challenge in the MTG Arena era. Just so many more games being played by some many more people let to rapid format solving at a pace that didn't even exist in the peak MTGO days.

Here are the fastest teams ranked in terms of 20-22 mph bursts. I also included 22+ mph bursts in the 2nd column. Boston is slowest in East while Calgary is the slowest in the NHL by significant margin.

@RBPundit I think our friend misread "first to home" as "home to home" and is thinking that 8 seconds is impossible to run 120 yards (90 feet x 4). It was actually more like 9.5 seconds to run 90 yards just looking at the clock, but it was still crazy fast. Insane cornering speed.
