39-year-old grandad-to-be Andrew Dickson from Blackpool was caught at Liverpool John Lennon Airport with 25.55kg of cocaine worth £1.9 million. He arrived on an easyJet flight from Alicante with the drugs hidden in 22 blocks inside his suitcase, purity around 80%. Dickson claimed it was “holiday gifts” from a friend and said the suitcase wasn’t even his. He later admitted acting as a drugs mule to clear a debt from his long-term cocaine and alcohol addiction. Liverpool Crown Court sentenced him to six years and eight months in prison. Sickening.

People asking where it all went wrong for LCFC... well they changed a successful model (on & off the pitch) in summer 2021... Losses #LCFC : 2021/22 - £92.5m 2022/23 - £89.5m 2023/24 - £19.4m 2024/25 - £71.1m 2025/26 - ??? That's a £272.5m LOSS in just four years 😬😬😬

@FilbertSt1884 It might be paid for but it will still need maintaining, staff, groundsman etc all on a league 1 budget. Unless he keeps funding it himself like our brilliant leader already does.Player sales? We got about 1 sellable asset in Fatawu which we’ll be lucky to get out money back on

@JamieCapewell Training ground paid for , of course they will because you don't quit on a loss , if we end up being in League 1 for 2/3 years then that could change but much of the damage of relegation will be offset with player sales and reduced wage bill

The amount of people still backing Top & king power is staggering. Looking at back to back relegations and one of the biggest declines in world football and people think by dropping down to league one he’s automatically going to sort the club out.

@FilbertSt1884 Because he can’t keep on bailing them out of his own pocket, we’ve just lost another £71 million pounds. Seagrave is a massive noose round the clubs neck, a £100 million pound training facility that was built for challenging the big 6 being used by a league one club

@peterp2000 Like I previously said it would probably be too late. Suggesting getting Nigel Pearson back was more to do with the fact it would give fans a huge boost and someone 99.9% of fans would get behind for the remaining games. It’s hardly like Rowett has pulled up any trees anyway

@haveitfella A proper reset goes further than just the players. The whole club needs a reset from Top to bottom (no pun intended) As we have seen though recently he will just double down & ignore the elephant in the room which is Jon Rudkin. Whilst he is still at the club no reset is possible

@FilbertSt1884 I’ve seen plenty of people backing Top saying he deserves time, we will rebuild when relegated, he will sort it out etc he might not get a chance to get his money back once we enter administration.

@JamieCapewell It's not a case of backing Top and King Power, it's about being realistic , they have written off £194 million of City's debt , as business people they will want their money back ,which means they are not going to sell now when our stock is so low

A friend just asked me if I could pin point the start of the downward spiral. For me it started way back in 2022. Jan 22 - The 3-2 home defeat to Spurs Feb 22 - 4-1 battering away to Forest in the FA Cup. The red flags and the warning signs were all there back then.
