@DanWetzel They are 32 in KenPom so right on the 8/9 line. They played no one all year (only four top fifty games three of which were against VCU) and Georgia played particularly poorly. I would avoid making these kinds of judgments based on one game. They are probably seeded correctly.

Michigan's offense was nearly perfect ... and it only leads by 4 points at the break. Howard with 10 first-half threes and has made this a game. Michigan with a lot to figure out defensively at the break.

But, AP who first reported the story, defended its position, writing Pope did not explicitly deny or confirm Lendeborg's reported offer. my take: I don't believe it happened. But Pope needed to be forceful in his denial.
