Idk what the Braves hitting department did but this is an entirely different hitter from last year. Swinging hard and striking out more, but as a result hitting the ball much better

@SportsTalkATL I think he can, his increased velocity seems like something that is going to stay and he doesn’t seem like he’s overthrowing to do it, just better mechanics. We need him to be a solid guy all year

@BravesStats @Braves_Jerseys However, Dubons defense has been significantly better so far than Allen’s. Allen is at 16th percentile OAA and -1 fielding run value. Dubon has a 3 fielding run value and is 95th percentile in OAA. Well worth the 6 million so far

However, in recent years, I've watched them spend lots of time digging holes from which they're often unsuccessful at emerging.

Everyone who was running victory laps bc the Braves pitching staff did good for 3 starts was always going to be wrong. They needed another starter this offseason and it was a mistake not to add one. Reylo hasn’t pitched in two years he’s going to hand ups and down. Holmes is stretched thin as a starter Elder is who he is Strider hasn’t been great in years Sale is elite but 37 This was always coming.
