AMS does not cause leaf cupping, roundup does not cause leaf cupping, liberty does not cause leaf cupping. If you are hearing that they do, pull that string a little harder and see what unravels.

Speculation abounds that AMS causes leaf cupping in LL soybean. Here are results of a recent UI trial: 43 ounces of Liberty combined with 3 rates of AMS or a “contamination” rate of dicamba. No leaf cupping from any AMS treatment. No leaf cupping in any other UI LL experiments.

I share this for those of you with flat corn so you can see the speed of recovery. The further from tassel, the straighter it will recover.

This picture from 2013 showed how fast corn a couple leaves from tassel stood back up after a big wind. We have several areas dealing with wind blown corn after the last couple days pop up storms.

📣⚠️!!!Dicamba update!!!The OISC has classified all herbicides containing more than 6.5% dicamba as Highly Volatile Herbicides and implemented a ban on dicamba applications from June 20-Aug 31. This is not just for soybeans, it includes any product with more than 6.5% dicamba.
