Smart dust can collect data on acceleration stress, pressure humidity sound & more. It can then process & store the data & wirelessly transmit it to a central server Smart dust has the potential to transform environmental monitoring, healthcare, agriculture, and defense.

🧵 ARE WE BREATHING SMART DUST?~ A network of tiny, wireless sensors made with nanotechnology that can collect and transmit environmental data like temperature, light, sound, and movement. These microscopic sensors, also called "motes," can be used for various applications, such as monitoring crops and equipment, tracking products, healthcare and security. While it holds significant potential, challenges include ☝️privacy concerns, environmental impact, and the technical difficulty of detecting and retrieving the devices once deployed. Although the smart dust devices are tiny, their disposal and impact on the environment is a topic for discussion. If the devices contain hazardous materials, it can affect the ecosystem and human health. Similarly, the device can contribute to increased carbon emissions which is another environmental concern.

Citizens step up on airport air pollution: Since Pitkin County isn’t measuring ultrafine nanoparticles. The nonprofit Aspen Fly Right led by physicist Amory Lovins has deployed its own monitors near Aspen-Pitkin County Airport. Research links these unregulated particles to health risks, with high levels found around airports worldwide. Early citizen data is in. More to come before runway/terminal expansion decisions. Public health first! @ReclaimOurSkies

USA TODAY January 27, 2021 Bill Gates predicts mRNA will be a game changer for vaccines “There’s no doubt in the next five years, we can, you know, we just need to mess around there’s a lot of lipid nano particles out there and some are very self assembling……”

How it works commercial aviation uses SAF {biofuels} & one of the additives in the biofuel is aluminum oxide which rides on the back of the carbon soot producing a chemical trail regular jet-A-1 contains sulfur which also rides the back of carbon soot producing chemical trails
