My wife overnighted ID to me, and paid a premium to @UPS to have it delivered to my hotel, GUARANTEED, by 10:30 this morning. I'm leaving tomorrow and they STILL have no idea where it is or when it might arrive. "Act of God," so no refund, the matter-of-fact service line person said, adding that for just $40 MORE they'd agree to return it to my home whenever it shows up. All in all, a great ad--for @FedEx!

1/ I reached into the console and fished around for my badge. It wasn’t there. My brow furrowed. Me: “Badge, we are not doing this today.” My hand swept over my passenger seat as I eked closer to the parking garage. Still no badge. Now I was almost at the entrance. Grrrr.
